A Day to Remember really kept their fans waiting for their upcoming studio album, but the wait is almost over, and they’re promising a refreshing and versatile new record that’s unlike anything they’ve done before.

The band’s frontman Jeremy McKinnon recently discussed the new album, You’re Welcome, with NME and said they tried to find a perfect balance between heavy and poppier songs. “It’s the first time in a long time that it has felt fresh. There are songs on this album that are mixes of things that I don’t know exist yet. We branch out in directions we never have before, and it’s executed better than things we’ve done before. I just think they’re better songs,” McKinnon explained.

You’re Welcome still doesn’t have an official release date, and the ADTR singer said that it’s all “still up in the air” because they’re trying to get the artwork done. Each of their previous albums had a unique visual identity, and McKinnon explained that it’s important for them to continue this legacy and that’s the main thing that’s holding up the album’s release.

A Day To Remember (ADTR) members are still unsure when their new album You’re Welcome will be out, but they are trying to make the wait a bit easier for their fans. The rockers recently released the album’s third single, titled “Mindreader,” accompanied by a cool animated video.

According to ADTR’s frontman Jeremy McKinnon, the group had a video in store for some time now and decided to share it now so their audience could get a taste of their new material.

“We’ve had this video done for some time now, and seeing as how our album isn’t out yet and the state of the world is keeping us off the road, we wanted to get some new material out there for our fans as soon as possible.”

McKinnon also revealed that he wrote “Mindreader” with producer Mike Green, known for his work with Sum 41, All Time Low, Gwen Stefani, and others. Hear the track below.

A Day To Remember initially announced their plans to release You’re Welcome, their seventh studio release, in November 2019. However, just one week before the album was scheduled to hit the shelves, the band decided to postpone the release for early 2020. Guitarist Kevin Skaff explained at the time that the album is still in the mixing phase with artwork left to be completed.

The group previously released tracks “Degenerates” and “Resentment” as the record’s first two singles.

Fans of A Day to Remember were hoping their favorite band will surprise them with a new album sometime this year, but it seems they’ll have to wait a bit longer since the Florida-based rockers decided to postpone its release for next year.

Members of A Day to Remember previously announced they’re dropping their new LP You’re Welcome on November 15th, but a couple of things got in the way and they eventually decided to postpone its release.

“It’s taken a little longer than expected and we just aren’t done with it yet. So we are moving this to early 2020. Rest assured, there’s a lot of new music coming out very soon and we can’t wait to share it with you,” read the statement by the band.

Members of ADTR thanked their fans for supporting them and said they’re looking forward to seeing them on Degenerates Tour. They’ve been on the road since September, and won’t wrap this tour leg until next month, which possibly affected their progress in the studio.

Kentucky-based music festival Louder Than Life just announced the final lineup for its 2019 edition and promises to be a real treat for all rock and metal fans. After revealing Guns N’ Roses as the first headliners last week, the organizers now shared that Slipknot and Disturbed join the bill as well.

The festival, which will take place from September 27th to September 29th in Louisville will also see performances from Ice Cube, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, A Day to Remember, Suicidal Tendencies, Stone Temple Pilots, Breaking Benjamin and many more.

“Slipknot has always had some of the most loyal, rabid fans in rock, but now they are at that pivotal moment when they’ve crossed over into iconic status; Disturbed has had their best touring numbers to date this year; then top it off with one of the biggest rock bands of all time in Guns N’ Roses…this year is our most massive lineup yet,” – said festival producer Danny Wimmer in a statement.

One of the most anticipated sets on Louder Than Life, however, will be the one from recently reunited Staind. This will be the band’s first live performance together in more than five years.

“We wouldn’t be living up to the name Louder Than Life if we didn’t come back bigger and badder than ever, giving fans something they can’t see anywhere else,” – Wimmer added.”Getting Staind back together and plugged in on the main stage is something that I’ve been working on for years. These are songs that need to be heard, that fans have been dying to hear — Staind has been one of the most requested bands on our socials, and it’s an honor to be bringing their music back for the fans at Louder Than Life.”

You can take a look at the full lineup of Louder Than Life below.
