]]>Apple Music’s list of their best 100 albums was shared on their social media platforms and official website over the course of the past 10 days. According to the streamer’s official statement, it was assembled with the help of artists and experts, and “it’s a modern love letter to the records that have shaped the world we live and listen in today.”
Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill eventually made it to the top of their list of the best albums in history. This 1998 record is her only solo studio album, and it previously made it to the Library of Congress’s National Recording Registry and the Grammy Hall of Fame.
“This is my award, but it’s a rich, deep narrative, and involves so many people, and so much sacrifice, and so much time, and so much collective love,” Hill told Apple Music after accepting her award.

Mary J. Blige has given us countless amazing hits throughout her decades-long career, and she performed some of them at the induction ceremony, including “Love No Limit” with Ella Mai.
Dave Matthews Band was in charge of bringing this year’s ceremony to a close, and they did so with a simple jam session including some of their most beloved tracks.
A tribute to the iconic hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest was one star-studded affair, and The Roots, Busta Rhymes, Common, DeLa Soul, and Queen Latifah were some of the artists to hit the stage in their honor.

]]>Apple Music’s list of their best 100 albums was shared on their social media platforms and official website over the course of the past 10 days. According to the streamer’s official statement, it was assembled with the help of artists and experts, and “it’s a modern love letter to the records that have shaped the world we live and listen in today.”
Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill eventually made it to the top of their list of the best albums in history. This 1998 record is her only solo studio album, and it previously made it to the Library of Congress’s National Recording Registry and the Grammy Hall of Fame.
“This is my award, but it’s a rich, deep narrative, and involves so many people, and so much sacrifice, and so much time, and so much collective love,” Hill told Apple Music after accepting her award.
Blonde by Frank Ocean, Purple Rain by Prince & The Revolution, Abbey Road by The Beatles, and Thriller by Michael Jackson also made it to the top five. You can check out the full list below.
