Some of the world’s leading artists gathered in the desert for the Coachella over the course of the past two weekends and delivered a show to remember. From Green Day to Lady Gaga, our favorite artists had the time of their lives performing at Coachella, and we’re bringing you five of their best performances.

Lady Gaga

We can count on Lady Gaga to put on quite a show every time she hits the stage, and her epic Coachella set was a great interlude for her upcoming tour The Mayhem Ball.

Clairo

Many of our favorite alternative artists performed at this year’s Coachella, but none impressed us more than Clairo, who emerged as one of the festival’s biggest breakout performers.

Charli XCX

Charli XCX brought her biggest hits to the Coachella stage, along with some of the collaborators featured on her latest album Brat, including Lorde, Billie Eilish, Troye Sivan, and Addison Rae.

Missy Elliot

This year’s Coachella lineup featured several legacy acts, and Missy Elliot’s performance reminded us why she’s one of the biggest hip-hop legends of her generation.

Green Day

Speaking of legacy acts, the punk-rock icons Green Day made quite a splash with their cathartic Coachella set and stayed true to their rebellious spirit.

We can always count on the Academy Awards to bring some amazing performances our way, and this year’s ceremony certainly delivered. The night full of surprises saw “El Mal” from Emilia Pérez win the Oscar for the best original song, but these three epic performances ended up stealing the show.

“Wicked” Medley

No musical this year created more buzz than Wicked, and it was only fitting for this film to get some time in the spotlight at the Oscars. Its stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande opened the show with an epic medley that included “Over the Rainbow”, “Home”, and “Defying Gravity”, delivering one of the night’s most memorable moments.

Quincy Jones Tribute

The late composer Quincy Jones was one of the recipients of this year’s Academy Honorary Awards, and the Oscars found a special way to celebrate his legacy. Queen Latifah was in charge of delivering the tribute to Jones, which included the song “Ease on Down the Road” from the hit Broadway musical The Wiz.

“James Bond” Tribute

James Bond tribute honoring the producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson was also a part of this year’s Oscars. Pop stars Lisa, Doja Cat, and Raye performed some of the hit songs from this beloved action franchise, including “Live and Let Die”, “Diamonds are Forever”, and “Skyfall”, while The Substance star Margaret Qualley danced in the background.

After trying to break into the mainstream for a decade, Sabrina Carpenter finally got her moment to shine in 2024. Short n’ Sweet put her on everyone’s radar, and its singles “Espresso”, “Please Please Please”, and “Taste” were among the biggest hits of 2024.

Kendrick Lamar – GNX

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” was one of the defining songs of 2024, and he kept the moment going by dropping a surprise album GNX. It featured 12 brand-new tracks, including chart-topping single “Squabble Up” and collaborations with SZA and Roddy Ricch.

Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft

Charli XCX – Brat

Charli XCX has given us one of the biggest pop culture phenomenons of 2024 with her album Brat. It resulted in the viral “Brat summer” trend, in addition to producing such hit songs as “Apple”, “Girl, So Confusing” ft. Lorde”, “Von Dutch”, and “360”.

Serving as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live is quite a badge of honor, and their lineup this year was as impressive as it gets. From Olivia Rodrigo to Tate McRae, we’re bringing you five SNL performances that knocked us off our feet throughout 2023.

Sam Smith: “Unholy ft. Kim Petras”

Sam Smith delivered the first SNL performance of 2023 alongside Kim Petras. This rendition of “Unholy” was pretty tame compared to some of their other performances, but that added to its charm.

Karol G: “Mientras Me Curo Del Cora”

We can count on Karol G to knock it out of the park every time she hits the stage, and she impressed us with two completely different takes on “Tus Gafitas” and “Mientras Me Curo Del Cora “ during her time on SNL.

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny is the only SNL host to pull double duty in 2023, and he delivered an epic performance of “Un Preview” and “Monaco” in addition to hosting the show.

Olivia Rodrigo: “All-American B—h”

Olivia Rodrigo brought pop-punk energy to the SNL stage with a theatrical rendition of “All-American B—h”, which included everything from glass breaking to cake smashing.

Tate McRae: “Greedy”

Tate McRae gave us one of the biggest viral hits of 2023 with “Greedy” and her amazing dance skills were on full display in this electrifying live performance.
