We’ve seen many unexpected artists head to Sin City in recent years, and members of Wu-Tang Clan are the next ones in line. The hip-hop collective is plotting its own Las Vegas residency, taking place over two weekends in February and March 2024.

The Las Vegas residency titled Wu-Tang Clan: The Saga Continues… will take place at the Theater at Virgin Hotels over four dates. Wu-Tang Clan will kick off their Las Vegas adventure with the two concerts during the Super Bowl weekend on February 9/10, followed by two more dates on March 22/23, 2024.

The group’s leader RZA told The New York Times that they want to add to the hub of creativity in Las Vegas with their residency and show the world that hip-hop can go where any other art form has gone before.

“I’m in that spirit of loving where there’s a hub of art and then loving that I – in my talent and the Wu-Tang brothers – can add to that hub and of course eventually invite more hip-hop artists to come and play in this sandbox with us,” he explained.

2023 has been a pretty historic year for Wu-Tang Clan. They celebrated the 30th anniversary of their iconic debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and the New York City mayor even named November 9 the “Wu-Tang Clan Day” to mark the occasion.

New York City is honoring some of its most iconic musicians by giving them their own streets. The NYC Council unanimously decided on a recent meeting that Notorious B.I.G. (real name: Christopher Wallace), Wu-Tang Clan, and Woody Guthrie will receive street signs in this city.

According to the Gothamist, the block in Brooklyn where Notorious B.I.G. grew up will now be called Christopher Wallace Way after the legendary rapper’s real name, while the Vanderbilt Avenue and Targee Street in the Staten Island will now be known as Wu-Tang Clan District. Lastly, Woody Guthrie Way will be located on Coney Island. Although Guthrie wasn’t born in New York, he spent most of his life there and had a big influence on the city’s culture.

“I’m happy that NYC officials are finally giving the city’s indigenous ‘Hip Hop’ music the respect and recognition that it deserves,” – LeRoy McCarthy, local culture advocate, told the Gothamist. “It took a long time and lots of hard work to advance the Christopher Wallace Way & Wu-Tang Clan District street co-naming, but ya know what, Hip Hop Don’t Stop.”

This isn’t the first time New York City honors some of its natives who had success in music. In 2013, Palmetto Park was renamed in honor of late Beastie Boys’ member Adam Yauch.
