Father of the Bride will be Vampire Weekend’s fourth studio album, serving as a follow up to 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City. The record is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019 with the band already presenting singles “Harmony Hall,” “2021,” “Sunflower,” and “Big Blue.”
Following the album’s release, the band will embark on a massive tour across North America, which will be their first since 2014. They will kick off the trip on May 17th with a show on Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores and will perform through June, August, September and early October before wrapping up the tour in Denver on October 8th.

It seems that Vampire Weekend have decided to get more experimental with their new album but at the core, they are still the same old New York alternative rock band that we know and love.
