]]>Ice Spice’s star has been on the rise for quite some time, and she’s been dubbed “rap’s new princess” in the wake of the success of “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” ft. PinkPantheress, her Nicki Minaj collaborations “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World”, and the remix of Taylor Swift’s “Karma”.
She found success with her EP Like..? last year, and she’s been working on her debut studio album ever since. The Grammy-nominated rapper finally announced its release back in January, revealed it will be called Y2K, and promised a “crazy collaboration” with an A-list artist.
Ice Spice gave us a taste of things to come with two solo singles — “Think U the S–t (Fart)” and “Gimmie a Light”. She also shared the album cover that sees her posing with a ginger wig against a concrete wall, in addition to confirming the July 26 release date.
The rapper is planning to support the release of Y2K with her first headlining tour, which will kick off at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark on July 4.

Sir Elton isn’t retiring because he thinks he’s too old for the game. He’s calling it quits so that he can spend more time with his husband, David Furnish, and their two children.
He’ll be able to relax in style as he’s worth over £175 million ($225 million) despite having admitted spending at a rate of nearly £1.5 million ($2 million) a month during the 1990s!

Fans of Sir Elton shouldn’t be disappointed to hear about this. He is, in his own words, “going out with a bang.”
His final tour will begin in the US in September 2018 and finish in April 2019 in the UK or Europe. In between those two points, he will play over 300 gigs to say farewell to as many fans as possible.
So make sure to get your tickets. There won’t be another chance to see one of the men who defined the music industry live again. We salute you, Sir Elton John.
