]]>This has been another fantastic week for new album releases, and we’ve witnessed several amazing drops across pop, hip-hop, and country. Kacey Musgraves’ Deeper Well produced several great songs, including “The Architect”, Justin Timberlake made it to our list with “No Angels” from Everything I Thought It Was, while Tierra Whack knocked it out of the park with “Snake Eyes” from World Wide Whack.
Many artists used their new singles to tease their upcoming albums. Zayn gave us a taste of Room Under the Stairs with “What I Am”, Vampire Weekend continued promoting Only God Was Above Us with “Classical”, while Don Toliver impressed us with “Deep in the Water” from Hardstone.
As for the rest of our list, Willow dropped her first single of 2024 “Symptom of Life”, while Halle Bailey shared her second solo single “In Your Hands”. “Strangers” singer Kenya Grace showed us she’s no one-hit wonder with “It’s Not Fair”, while Nothing But Thieves rocked our world with “Time :: Fate :: Karma :: God”.

Dua Lipa is also busy teasing the release of her next album, and she finally dropped her long-awaited new single “Training Season”. Vampire Weekend are gearing up for the release of their new LP Only God Was Above Us, and they gave us a taste of things to come with “Capricorn”.
Our list for this week doesn’t feature too many collaborations, but the ones that made the cut are as good as it gets. Mariah Carey hopped on the remix of Ariana Grande’s “Yes, And?”, while Karol G joined forces with Tiësto for the electrifying new song “Contigo”.

Justin Timberlake made a comeback this week, and gave us a taste of his new album with a brand-new single “Selfish”. Lil Nas X is also busy teasing the release of his sophomore album, and he surprised us with a new song “Where Do We Go Now?”, featured in his documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero.
This week has been pretty epic for fans of alternative music, and many of the songs on our list hail from our favorite indie artists. From Tom Odell and Fletcher to Paris Paloma and Tierra Whack, all our faves graced us with amazing new tracks that we’re already listening to on repeat.

]]>The post Tierra Whack Announces New Album “World Wide Whack” appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>The Philly-based rapper teased her upcoming LP by sharing its quirky cover, shot by conceptual artist Alex De Corte. The 17th-century Italian clown Pierrot, fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, and Donna Summer have been listed as inspirations for her new alter-ego.
Whack’s press release described this album cover as “the first reveal of the World Wide Whack character, an alter ego both untouchable and vulnerable, superhuman and painfully human, whose surprising story will unfold in images and video over the course of the album’s visual rollout”.
She also described the World Wide Whack as her debut album and said she hopes her fans will enjoy it as much as she does, but it’s technically her sophomore LP. Her debut studio album Whack World was released in 2018 by Interscope and made it to several lists of best albums that year.
World Wide Whack will be released on March 15, and its first single “Shower Song” will hit the shelves this Friday.

]]>Dua Lipa’s “Houdini” is definitely the week’s most exciting new release, and it was worth waiting for. The British singer made an epic comeback with this song, which is as catchy as some of her biggest hits, while also allowing you to embrace a new psychedelic sound.
This week also marked the release of debut albums of some of the biggest Gen-Z rising stars. PinkPantheress knocked us off our feet with Heaven Knows, and gave us another amazing collaboration with “Nice To Meet You” ft. Central Cee. The Kid LAROI also finally released his highly-anticipated debut studio album The First Time and promoted its release with the new song “Sorry”.
It was an amazing week for Gen-Z stars overall, and several others made it to our list of the best songs. Gracie Abrams impressed us with her new single “Cedar”, Tierra Whack gave us another quirky bop with “Chanel Pit”, Dove Cameron kept exploring her edgy side with “Sand”, while Jack Harlow continued his rise through the hip-hop ranks with“Lovin On Me”.
