]]> If you can’t wait for The Flaming Lips’ new album King’s Mouth to get its wide release on July 19th, then you’re in luck. The band decided to share another single from the record, debuting song “Giant Baby.”

This new track, as all songs from the new album, features narration from The Clash’s Mick Jones. Check out the song and official lyrics video below.

The Flaming Lips released a limited number of gold vinyl copies of King’s Mouth as an exclusive for Record Store Day back in April. The wide release will now see the record being available on all physical editions as well as digital platforms. The album will serve as a follow-up to 2017’s Oczy Mlody.

After they release King’s Mouth, the band will embark on a promotional tour across the United States. They will kick off the trip with a show in Wichita on July 23rd and will visit cities like Lewiston, New Haven, and Charlotte, before wrapping up the tour in Raleigh on August 7th. Following that, the group will play a series of shows in Europe.

]]> The Flaming Lips released their new album King’s Mouth as a vinyl-only issue on Record Store Day over the weekend. All 4,000 vinyl copies were sold out quickly, but there is nothing to get worried about since American rockers intend to give the record a wide release as well.

The Flaming Lips announced that King’s Mouth will be out on July 19th, and will be available in all formats including digital release, CD and vinyl.

Speaking about their new record earlier this year, the band’s frontman Wayne Coyne revealed that King’s Mouth serves as a larger part of the art installation of the same name which was presented in 2015 and is currently on display at Rough Trade NYC. Coyne also shared that the album will feature narration for The Clash’s lead guitarist and lead vocalist Mick Jones “on almost every song.”

Until the record officially comes out, you can hear one of The Flaming Lips’ new songs “All For The Life Of The City” below.

The Flaming Lips’ latest release in 2017 when they presented their fourteenth studio album Oczy Mlody. The record spawned several hits like “The Castle” and “How??,” while receiving positive reviews from the critics.
