]]>During the accompanying interview, Run the Jewels also shared some interesting details about the song, revealing that “Let’s Go (The Royal We)” was one of El-P’s rejected works from Blade Runner 2049 trailer.
“I just loved it so much that I was like, ‘I have to use this,'” he told Zane Lowe. “I had spent some time working on that to kind of try and transform it into a beat for essentially Run the Jewels 4 because me and Mike both loved it, and we just thought it was nasty.”
During the interview, El-P and Killer Mike also announced that they are working on their fourth studio album, which will be a follow-up to critically acclaimed 2016’s release Run the Jewels 3.
