]]>Clairo’s Charm is one of the most highly anticipated indie albums to hit the shelves this week, and it’s given us 11 amazing new songs, including “Add Up My Love”. Griff finally shared her long-awaited debut album Vertigo this Friday, and “Tears For Fun” is one of its very best songs.
The list of major new album releases doesn’t end there. Cigarettes After S-x impressed us with their new album X’s, OneRepublic returned with Artificial Paradise, Cat Burns released her debut album Early Twenties, while the Afrobeats star Rema rocked our world with Heis.
Pop music is mostly absent from our list this week, but one catchy collaboration managed to sneak in. Kylie Minogue joined forces with Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo for “My Oh My”, proving they’re truly a match made in heaven.

]]>We can count on Swift to create a commotion every time she shares a new re-recording of her old albums with the world, and she’s done it once again with 1989. “S-ut!” was released as it’s lead single, and she revealed that she liked this song so much that she even considered leaving it on the original album instead of one of her biggest hits, “Blank Space”.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) pretty much overshadowed every album that hit the shelves this week, but some of them still managed to make it to our list. Brent Faiyaz made quite a splash with Larger Than Life and gave us several amazing collaborations including “Outside All Night” ft. A$AP Rocky & N3WYRKLA. Music from new albums by The Kills, Jay Wheeler, and Poppy also made the cut.
We also made sure to include new songs by The Kid LAROI, Rema, Green Day, Mary J. Blige, and Alec Benjamin, and it’s up to you to pick your favorite.

]]>“Calm Down” was originally released as one of the songs from Rema’s debut album Rave & Roses, but it became a global sensation after Selena Gomez hopped on the remix of this catchy Afrobeats track. The remix peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in addition to topping the Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay charts.
Only about a year after the remix with Selena Gomez was released in August last year, “Calm Down” joined the Billions Club on Spotify. This is quite a historic achievement for the Nigerian singer Rema, who became the first lead African artist to cross the one billion mark with a single song.
“It’s a blessing. It’s not just a big win for me, my team, and family; it’s also a big one for the culture. I feel really happy, and I’m really proud of the fans as well for going back to the song and putting people onto the song. Shout-out to the DJs and everyone who made this possible,” said Rema in a statement.
