]]>We can count on Swift to create a commotion every time she shares a new re-recording of her old albums with the world, and she’s done it once again with 1989. “S-ut!” was released as it’s lead single, and she revealed that she liked this song so much that she even considered leaving it on the original album instead of one of her biggest hits, “Blank Space”.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) pretty much overshadowed every album that hit the shelves this week, but some of them still managed to make it to our list. Brent Faiyaz made quite a splash with Larger Than Life and gave us several amazing collaborations including “Outside All Night” ft. A$AP Rocky & N3WYRKLA. Music from new albums by The Kills, Jay Wheeler, and Poppy also made the cut.
We also made sure to include new songs by The Kid LAROI, Rema, Green Day, Mary J. Blige, and Alec Benjamin, and it’s up to you to pick your favorite.

Deftones will kick things off on July 27th with a concert at Portland, Oregon, and they’ll keep on touring all summer long, until wrapping it up in Denver on September 5th. This will be their first full tour across the US since 2017, but they’ve been pretty busy with other shows, including their own Dia de Los Deftones festival.

Poppy’s 2018 record Am I A Girl received mixed reviews but was praised for its ability to “keep fans guessing” Poppy’s highly-anticipated third album is titled I Disagree. It is scheduled to be released January 10, 2020 and will see the singer exploring new angles.

]]>The track is from the artist’s new album Am I A Girl and features Grimes. It is unlike anything we have heard from Poppy before, mixing metal with pop to create something which sounds like a cross between Baby Metal and Metallica.
You can listen to the new track here:
Poppy previously explained to NME how the collaboration with Grimes happened: “She followed me on Twitter, then I sent her a message and said ‘hi, I like you. We should make a song together’,” she said. “Then we made a couple of songs together actually. She’s really talented.”
She added: “It’s really great that she’s one of few female producers that is actively doing it right now. It’s very respectable. She’s really good with synthesizers and we wanted to take the song in more of a heavy direction. She’s great at melodies. I write pop music a lot. It’s her element which is a lot more abstract.”
Poppy’s album Am I A Girl is out now.
