Earlier this year, Panic! At The Disco announced they’ll be disbanding after almost two decades, and they just played their final show. The band’s frontman Brendon Urie addressed the fans in an emotional social media post and said he was “overcome with gratitude” after playing the final show in Manchester.

Panic! At The Disco brought their Viva Las Vengeance tour to a close with a concert at Manchester’s AO Arena on March 10. Once the dust settled, Urie addressed the fans on Twitter and thanked them from the bottom of his hurt for sticking with the band for so long.

“For the last 18 years, it’s truly been an experience that I’ll always be grateful for. So if you’ve been with us for 18 years, thank you very much. And if you’ve just joined us, welcome and….farewell. Either way, I love you very much, and I just can’t say thank you enough,” wrote Urie on Twitter.

Urie announced his decision to disband the group back in January, saying he wants to focus on his family because his wife Sarah Orzechowski was pregnant with their first child. He founded Panic! At The Disco in Las Vegas in 2004 alongside Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson, but PATD eventually became his solo project in 2015.

Panic! At The Disco, one of the bands responsible for your emo obsession during the 2000s, is no more. The group’s frontman and the only remaining founding member Brandon Urie announced he’s disbanding Panic! At The Disco almost 20 years after it was founded in Las Vegas.

Urie released an official statement on PATD’s social media accounts where he announced two important pieces of news: that he’s expecting his first child with his wife Sarah Orzechowski and that he’s leaving Panic! At The Disco in the past.

“Sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin… I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more,” wrote Urie on social media.

Urie thanked fans for sticking for their immense support over the years and added he’s looking forward to bidding farewell during the European leg of the ongoing Viva Las Vengeance Tour. He’ll hit the road on February 20, and close the tour with a concert at Manchester’s AO Arena on March 10.

Panic! At The Disco was founded in Las Vegas in 2004, and it became Urie’s solo vehicle in 2015. They got their big break with the song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, and went on to receive three Grammy nominations and score two No. 1 albums – Death of a Bachelor and Pray for the Wicked.

Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie gave us one of the biggest surprises of his career with the recent Taylor Swift collaboration, and he just revealed the name of another chart-topping act he wants to work with – legendary punk rock band Green Day.

Urie described this band as “all-time inspiration for doing music” in a recent live stream on his gaming and video platform Twitch and shared a fun story about meeting members of Green Day in person at a party.

“I met the whole band that night. That was kinda crazy… They’re all so kind. And this was at a party where hundreds, maybe thousands of people were in that room – it was just intense. They’re just so personable and very, very nice,” recalled Brendon Urie.

Panic! at the Disco frontman also said he’d really like to collaborate with this band because they’re the reason why he had got into punk rock in the first place. This team-up really sounds like a dream come true, and we’re looking forward to hearing Billie Joe Armstrong’s response.

Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie has revealed his top choice for his next collaboration.

The singer recently collaborated with Taylor Swift on her new single, “ME!” After the collab’s success, fans want to know who Urie will be teaming up with next.

During his appearance on Ask Anything, the star was asked who he would want to team up with on an episode of CMT Crossroads. The show is a platform for country singers to perform with artists from genres other than country. Urie barely hesitated before giving his answer.

“The first name that comes to mind is Kacey Musgraves,” he replied. “I’m a huge Kacey Musgraves fan. We went to a Clive Davis party a year back or two and sat at the same table – the same table as Kacey and Maren Morris. But I remember just sitting across from Kacey and me and my wife were losing it, y’know.”

He added: “I’m just a huge fan of her voice [and] her songwriting style. I think that would be really really fun to do.”

So if you’re reading this Kacey, drop Brandon Yurie a message.

Panic! At The Disco dropped the music video for their new single “Dancing’s Not A Crime” – and it features a familiar face. Brendon Urie’s hard-partying puppet alter ego Amazing Beebo is the biggest star of the band’s latest visual.

Hardcore fans of this pop-punk band are no strangers to Beebo. He made his first appearance in P!ATD’s visual for “Hey Look Ma, I Made It”, and was such a huge hit that it was just a matter of time before they brought him back.

“Dancing’s Not A Crime” opens with Beebo waking up to a text from Urie, inviting him to come to band’s next concert. Beebo accepts his invitation but eventually ends up missing the show after spending the night partying with the fans and getting drunk.

This visual dropped a few days before Panic! At The Disco went back on the road. The European leg of their “Pray for the Wicked” tour kicked off with a concert in Amsterdam on March 18, and they’ll stay on the old continent for the next few weeks. The whole tour will wrap up on October 3, with a final concert at the Barra Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro.

Panic! At The Disco’s frontman, Brendon Urie already proved that he is a big-time talent by selling-out concerts with his bands and starring in Tony-winning stage show Kinky Boots. Now, it seems like he is ready to go even further.

In a recent interview with The Sun, Urie revealed that he is considering the possibility of writing a musical about his own life that would be adapted for both the stage and as a movie. The 31-year-old also shared that he already had discussions with several movie directors about the project.

“I’ve been talking to a couple of movie directors about film music ideas and about doing musical theatre, Broadway maybe,” he said for the magazine’s Bizarre column. “The ideal [scenario] would be to write music for an idea somebody else has come up with.”

“I talked about doing my origin story, growing up in Vegas, so we will see what happens,” he added.

Besides discussing his aspirations to write a musical, Brendon Urie also told The Sun that he has a goal of performing in a production on London’s West End, with Les Misérables and The Book of Mormon being among his top choices.

All of these plans will probably have to wait, however, since Urie is currently occupied with promoting the Panic! At The Disco’s latest studio album Pray for the Wicked. The band is scheduled to tour the United States through February before heading to Europe for shows in Germany and Netherlands.

Firefly Festival is coming back to Delaware this summer and we already know it’s going to be epic. Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Panic! at the Disco were announced as headliners, but lineup includes a couple of more exciting artists.

The 2019 edition of the festival will take place between June 21 and 23. The Woodlands in Dover, Delaware will once again serve as a venue, for the eighth year in a row.

Alicia Karlin, Firefly talent buyer, said they’re thrilled to share this Firefly lineup, but that’s not the only thing to be excited about. “In addition to all the music, we’re launching some new initiatives that will surprise longtime fans as well as those joining us for the first time. We want fans to leave the festival with a newfound excitement around the Firefly experience,” said Karlin.

One of those initiatives is the S.P.A.R.K. engagement program, which will allow fans to connect before, during and after the festival through a variety of meaningful online and in-person interactions. They’ll also be expending campout offerings, by introducing brand-new Great Atlantic Campout.

The lineup for 2019 addition of Firefly Festival also includes the likes of Kygo, Tyler, the Creator, Vampire Weekend, Death Cab for Cutie and Lykke Li.

It’s been a while since we got a good cover from Panic! At The Disco, so the band decided to do something about it and treat us with their own version of “Hey Ya,” Outkast’s hit song from 2003.

Brendon Urie and the rest of the band took part in Spotify Singles Session where they performed a stripped-back version of their latest hit “High Hopes,” and then delivered a surprisingly good cover of “Hey Ya!.” Now, we know Panic! At The Disco and Outkast don’t really have much in common, but wait until you hear this mix before you judge it.

The band also uploaded a short video of their Spotify Singles Session performance on their Twitter profile.

Panic! At The Disco are currently promoting their sixth studio album Pray for the Wicked, which was released back in June. The record was praised by the critics while topping the US Billboard 200. It also reached the top 10 in eight other countries.

Following the release of Pray for the Wicked, Panic! At The Disco embarked on a worldwide tour. Until the end of the year, the band will have shown in Asia and Latin America before doing the second leg of North America part of the tour in January and February.
