This week has also been pretty great for Tyla, who’s been on fire this fall. After stirring the commotion with her recent music video for “Push 2 Start”, she surprised us with her new ballad “Tears”, which she performed during the most recent Coke Studio Session.

This spring has been a brilliant time for new music releases, and it’s given us countless amazing songs week after week. This week was no exception to this rule, and we’ve gotten some epic new tracks from the likes of Billie Eilish, Saweetie, Childish Gambino, and many more.

This week gave us several amazing new albums, but none of them compares to Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft. Her decision not to release any singles beforehand worked wonders for this album because she managed to create even more hype for its launch before rocking our world with the lead single “Lunch”.

Eilish wasn’t the only major artist to drop a new album this Friday. ZAYN made a comeback with Room Under the Stairs, and promoted its release with a new single “Stardust”, while Cage the Elephant impressed us with “Rainbow” from their new album Neon Pill.

If you’re looking for a new catchy bop to listen to on repeat this summer, you’ll find two on our list – Saweetie’s “NANi” and Bebe Rexha’s “Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)”. It’s also been a great week for our favorite alternative bands, and Bleachers, Empire of the Sun, and Highly Suspect all made the cut, alongside Cage the Elephant.

Billie Eilish – “Lunch”

Omar Apollo – “Dispose of Me”

Saweetie – “NANi”

ZAYN – “Stardust”

Cage the Elephant – “Rainbow”

Highly Suspect – “Summertime Voodoo”

Empire of the Sun – Music on the Radio

Bebe Rexha – “Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)”

Childish Gambino – “Little Foot Big Foot” ft. Young Nudy

Luke Combs – “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma”

Summer is slowly drawing to a close, but new candidates for the songs of the summer are still pouring in. From Miley Cyrus’ “Used To Be Young” to The Killers’ “Your Side of Town”, we’re bringing you ten brand-new tracks that defined this week.

This week marked a major comeback for two of our favorite former Disney stars – Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. They both announced new songs last week and supported each other on social media before finally sharing them with the world on Friday.

Gomez delivered a club-ready girl power anthem with “Single Soon”, her first solo single of 2023. As for Cyrus, she opted for a completely different approach with a soaring ballad “Used To Be Young”, which sees her reflecting on the mistakes she made in her past.

The rest of our list of best songs of the week includes an interesting mix of different genres, ranging from indie rock to country. Zach Bryan made the cut with his recently released self-titled album, which produced A-list collaboration “I Remember Everything” feat. Kacey Musgraves.

Our list also includes new music from The Killers, Mitski, Victoria Monét, and Conan Gray, so get ready to add them to your playlist.

Miley Cyrus – Used To Be Young

Zach Bryan – I Remember Everything (feat. Kacey Musgraves)

Selena Gomez – Single Soon

The Killers – Your Side of Town

Mitski – Heaven

Victoria Monét – Alright

Conan Gray – Winner

YUNGBLUD – Hated

Blackpink – The Girls

Omar Apollo – Ice Slippin
