]]>Her Dublin show was set to happen on the weekend of St Patrick’s day so it was naturally going to be a big deal. Unfortunately, the rapper canceled due to weather conditions, claiming that she couldn’t get equipment there and the venue didn’t have the equipment she needed.
A full statement from MCD Productions reads: “Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions which have affected Irish sea sailings over the last 24hrs resulting in some equipment trucks not arriving, Nicki Minaj has been forced to cancel her concert tonight (Friday 15 March 2019) at Dublin’s 3Arena.
“Ticket holders are advised to hold onto their tickets while the artist, venue, and promoters work to reschedule the date as soon as possible with a further update to follow at 6.30pm on www.mcd.ie. Nicki Minaj apologizes for any inconvenience caused to fans due to these unforeseen circumstances.”
Nicki Minaj’s show on Saturday 17 in Glawsgow went ahead as planned.

]]>“Due to scheduling conflicts Future will not be on the North American run,” said the press release. “Nicki Minaj will be announcing new North American dates to kick off in May 2019. Refunds for the previously scheduled North American dates will be available at point of purchase, with new Nicki Minaj on-sale details announced soon.”
This won’t affect the current dates for Minaj and Future’s European tour which will kick off on February 21st, 2019.
According to a recent report from Page Six, the North America leg of Nicki Minaj and Future’s joint tour wasn’t a good seller at all. Sources from Live Nation told Page Six that the big venues with up to 20,000 capacities were selling only several thousands of tickets, which put the entire tour in danger of being canceled. Now, those predictions came true.
Nicki Minaj is touring in support of her fourth studio album Queen, which was released on August 10th, 2018 after several delays. Contrary to expectations, Queen didn’t top the US Billboard 200, coming in at No.2 behind Travis Scott’s Astroworld. The record received generally favorable reviews from the critics.
