]]>Christmas originally hit the shelves in 2011, and featured Bublé’s renditions of the beloved holiday classics, such as “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”, “Holly Jolly Christmas”, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)”, and “Jingle Bells”.
This marks the sixth non-consecutive week Bublé’s Christmas spent atop the UK Official Albums Chart, after spending three weeks at No. 1 following its release in 2011 and returning to No. 1 in both 2021 and 2022.
Bublé discussed the album’s enduring popularity on Billboard’s Pop Shop Podcast in 2022. He admitted he would sometimes complain about its success because people couldn’t stop talking about it, but eventually realized how wonderful it is to have it as a part of his legacy.
“It’s become less about what religion you are and it’s become about just a time when us human beings might need a bit of a break. And there’s a little more empathy and kindness. And I thought, man, to be connected to something so beautiful, there are much worse things in life,” said Bublé.
