]]>According to Manson, he already finished six songs that will find its place on the follow up to 2017’s Heaven Upside Down.
“Last night, I was working pretty late in the studio, and we finished the sixth song,” Manson told the magazine. “So, it’ll be out before the end of the year, definitely. I plan on going on the Twins of Evil tour, and I have an art book that I’m going to release, and I’ll probably have a bunch of exhibitions all over to go along with it. And then I’ll release the album after that.”
Speaking further about the album, the “Tainted Love” singer said that he is considering to title the release Marilyn Manson as he wishes to “tell stories with this record.”
“I wouldn’t compare it to any of my other records, but you hear a bit of everything — it’s like I’ve focused everything into one spot, finally,” he added.
The new album will be Marylin Manson’s first with the new drummer Brandon Pertzborn, who recently took over from Gil Sharone. Pertzborn will introduce himself to a wider audience this summer when Manson embarks on The Twins Of Evil: Hell Never Dies Tour with Rob Zombie.

]]>Manson found himself without a drummer when Gil Sharone departed back in March. Sharone, who played with the “Tainted Love” rocker for the past five years, left in order to “pursue other current and future projects.”
It was rumored that Pertzborn, who worked with hip-hop group Ho99o9 in recent years, will take over from Sharone past couple of weeks, but there was no official confirmation.
Now, Marilyn Manson made it official by posting a photo of himself with Pertzborn on Instagram and writing: “I went to see a film with @strainsofhorror Shayne and my drummer Brandon @brandonpertzborn.”
Brandon Pertzborn was a drummer for several bands since 2014 including Black Flag, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, and Suicidal Tendencies. He was also part of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor’s backing band at his solo gigs.
Fans will get a chance to see Pertzborn in action in the next couple of weeks when Manson embarks on a The Twins Of Evil: Hell Never Dies Tour with Rob Zombie on July 9th.
