]]>After chatting about MMA with UFC Live host Michael Eaves, Wayne was asked about his upcoming projects. This is when he decided to drop an exciting exclusive.
“Carter VI coming soon,” said Wayne at one moment. “But, I got No Ceilings coming first. No Ceilings 3.”
These two releases would round up a busy year for Wayne, considering that he already had one full-length album, Funeral, out in 2020. The release hit No.1 on US Billboard, although most critics felt indifferent about it.
Wayne presented the first entry in the No Ceilings series at the height of his popularity in 2009, gifting the project to fans as a free download. The sequel, which surfaced six years later, in 2015, followed the same recipe. Both mixtapes received positive reviews.
Tha Carter album series, on the other hand, spanned five entries so far. The latest, chart-topping Tha Carter V, was released in September 2018.

]]>Both songs were incorporated in one video that consists mostly out of highlights of Wayne’s skating. It shows the “A Milli” rapper doing ollies, kickflips, grinds, and all sorts of different aerials and being surprisingly good at it.

According to Lil Wayne, the idea for the music video came when his skater friend Yosef “Yoyo” Rateliff showed him a skating video that used “Piano Trap” as a musical background. He liked it so much that he decided to do something similar.
“It was money from there!” Wayne told Rolling Stone magazine.
Wayne released Funeral back in January to positive reviews. The record, which followed 2018’s release Tha Carter V, also debuted at the top of US Billboard Charts, marking his fifth No.1 album.
The rapper recently announced that the deluxe edition of the record is currently in the works and will be released soon. It will come with several new tracks as well as interesting remixes.
