]]>Urban is no stranger to The Voice viewers—he previously joined coach Blake Shelton as an adviser in Season 15 and he’s finally ready to take on a bigger role. He’s definitely up for the challenge since he already served as a coach on several seasons of the Australian version of The Voice. He also judged several seasons of American Idol between 2013 and 2016, while this singing competition show still aired on Fox.
The 25th season of The Voice kicked off on February 26, with Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend, and Reba McEntire serving as coaches. Urban will join them on April 8, and it will be up to him to mentor the remaining artists who have made it through the battle rounds.
The Voice won’t be the only project keeping Urban busy this year. He’s also gearing up for the release of his 12th studio album, which he promoted with previously released singles “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me”.

]]>Urban recently discussed his latest series of live shows with Rolling Stone, and the thing he loves the most about Las Vegas is getting to perform at several venues at once.
“I think what I love about it, it’s three venues in one. You’ve got an arena stage that truly is, I mean the production you can put on a stage is massive… It’s rowdy, it’s a raucous vibe. The three venues that I love playing the most are all in one place,” said the country star.
Keith Urban’s Las Vegas residency kicked off on January 10th, and it didn’t take it long to become a hit. Shortly after his first show, he added four more dates for July and September.
