Ethel Cain kicked 2025 off by dropping her brand-new self-released album Perverts, and promoted its release by sharing a moody music video for “Vacillator”. Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand made an epic comeback with The Human Fear, their first album in seven years, which produced a new single “Hooked”.
This week has also given us several amazing collaborations, including “Are You Even Real” by Teddy Swims and Giveon, plus “Hypnotized” by Ellie Goulding and Anyma. Stick around to check out the rest of our list and discover new music by Japanese Breakfast, The Lumineers, Wallows, Rod Wave, and JADE.

]]>This week has been pretty slow in terms of major album releases, but that didn’t stop Bon Iver from rocking our world with their new EP Sable. The indie folk band shared four new songs on this record, each one amazing in its own right, but “Things Behind Things Behind Things” emerged as our favorite.
Speaking of new albums, Kylie Minogue returned with the sequel album Tension II, continuing her ongoing love affair with electronic music. In addition to collaborations with Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, Sia, and The Blessed Madonna, the Australian singer prepared several solo songs, such as “Someone For Me”.
It was a great week for female vocalists overall, with artists from all genres and corners of the world making it to our list. Blackpink’s Rosé created more buzz than anyone with her new single “APT.” ft. Bruno Mars, but our list also includes new songs by Gracie Abrams, FKA Twigs, Bishop Briggs, and many more.

]]>It’s only been a few days since Lady Gaga teased the release of Lady Gaga, a companion album to her new movie Joker: Folie à Deux. She recorded several original songs to set the stage for this project, including “Happy Mistake”.
Speaking of new albums, The Weeknd is teasing the newly-announced Hurry Up Tomorrow. After sharing the first single “Dancing in the Flames” earlier this month, he dropped the Playboi Carti collaboration “Timeless” just two weeks later.
This week has been pretty great for female vocalists overall, and Lady Gaga’s new album is just a drop in the ocean. Rock legend Stevie Nicks returned with “The Lighthouse”, Nina Nesbitt released “Parachute” from her new album Mountain Music, while Jade continued teasing her debut solo album with “Midnight Cowboy”.
Our favorite Latin singers have also been pretty busy – Rosalía rocked our world with “Omega” ft. Ralphie Choo, while Shakira gave us another catchy bop to dance to with “Soltera”.
Linkin Park, Kygo, Imagine Dragons, Damiano David, and Labrinth also made it to our list, so check it out to discover some new music.

]]>This Friday marked the release of Childish Gambino’s soundtrack album Bando Stone & the New World, and she found a perfect way to promote it. “In the Night” was released as its second single, and the Grammy-winning rapper found the best partners in crime in Jorja Smith and Amaarae.
This is only one of two collaborations to make the cut this week, and we were equally impressed by James Bay’s “Up All Night” featuring The Lumineers and Noah Kahan.
Some of our favorite indie bands also returned with new albums this week. Glass Animals unleashed I Love You So F***ing Much and gave us ten brand-new songs, including “Show Pony”. Highly Suspect dropped As Above, So Below, and “Plastic Boxes” emerged as one of their best new songs.
It’s been a good week for alternative music overall, with Wallows and Paris Paloma also making the cut, but we made sure to also put new songs by Benson Boone, Jade, Khalid, and Alessia Cara in the mix.
