]]>The band’s bassist Ben Kenney discussed their plans for the future ahead of the tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their hit album Make Yourself. They dropped five LPs since its release in 1999, but it doesn’t seem like they’ll give us another one in the nearby future.
“We have our own studio now, and we love to record and explore and experiment… But we don’t want to get stacked up in a studio making an album. We have to adapt our process ‘cause the albums themselves don’t actually make as big a splash as they used to,” Kenney told Billboard.
The new album may not be coming our way, but that doesn’t mean Incubus is not working on new material. According to Kenney, they already have four new songs on the way, and they’re looking forward to getting their music into people’s hands in the next few months.

The band’s lead singer Brandon Boyd couldn’t wait to share the good news with their fans, and let them know they’ll get to celebrate the birthday of this iconic album together.
“We are so looking forward to this fall tour. Make Yourself was such a pivotal moment in our band, and we are beyond excited to reintroduce this album to our audience while also showcasing the many musical roads it ultimately led us down. See you soon!” said Boyd in press release.
Make Yourself came out on October 26th, 1999 and became certified double platinum thanks to three charting singles “Pardon Me,” “Stellar” and “Drive.”
