]]>Lollapalooza is returning to the iconic Grant Park in Chicago between July 31 and August 3, and it will welcome 170 artists across eight stages. Its next edition will be one star-studded affair, with Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter leading the lineup, and they’ll be in pretty good company.
Tyler, the Creator, Twice, Korn, Rüfüs Du Sol, Gracie Abrams, and Doechii are also among the headliners, along with Luke Combs. He’ll close the festival, which is a historic first for a country act. The girl group Twice will also make history as the first K-pop girl group to headline Lollapalooza.
The list of notable acts performing at Lollapalooza also includes Cage the Elephant, Clairo, Dominic Fike, Bleachers, Finneas, T-Pain, Dom Dolla, Remi Wolf, The Marías, Martin Garrix, Rebecca Black, The Dare, Måneskin’s Damiano David, Foster the People, and Wallows, among others.
Lollapalooza kicked off as a touring event in 1991, before Chicago became its permanent location in 2005. The festival’s popularity inspired many international editions, taking place in Chile, Brazil, France, India, and beyond.

It was a great week for amazing collaborations overall, and quite a few made it to our list. Maren Morris and Julia Michaels proved they’re a match made in heaven with “Cut!”, while Jamie xx and Robyn joined forces for “Life”.
It’s also been a great week for remixes of songs we already know and love. Ariana Grande did the most meta thing ever and invited Brandy and Monica to hop on a remix of “The Boy is Mine”, while Charli XCX recorded a new version of “Girl, So Confusing” alongside Lorde.

]]>Abrams’ second studio album The Secret of Us is hitting the shelves on June 21, and she’s doing a great job promoting it. After dropping the lead single “Risk”, the young singer shared a full tracklist with her fans, featuring 13 brand-new songs she worked on with producer Aaron Dessner.
Dessner won’t be Abrams’ only past collaborator who worked on The Secret of Us by her side. Her sophomore album will also feature a collaboration with Taylor Swift, titled “Us”.
Abrams previously served as the opening act on Swift’s record-breaking The Eras Tour, and this experience significantly shaped her next album.
“I watched every single one of her shows that I was lucky enough to open – I think I did 31 and I watched from every place possible in every stadium, just trying to pick up on how she’s able to do what she does. And she’s such a one-of-a-kind person, friend, artist, all the things,” said Abrams during a recent appearance on The Today Show.

]]>Abrams took to social media to share the cover of her new album and revealed its first single “Risk” is hitting the shelves on May 1. She also gave a shout-out to producer Aaron Dessner, “Risk” co-writer Audrey Hobert, and cover artist Abby Waisler for helping her bring her vision to life.
“We had real, true fun writing this album. There were also the occasional tears. Audrey and I wrote ‘Risk’ on our couch at home. Aaron produced the s–t out of it. Abby shot the cover. The music is yours in basically five seconds and we cannot wait,” she wrote on Instagram.
The Secret of Us will be released on June 21 via Interscope Records, and it serves as the follow-up to her debut album Good Riddance. It was also produced by Dessner, and its success helped Abrams score a Grammy nomination for the best new artist.
Abrams is yet to share a tracklist of The Secret of Us, but it could feature some of the unreleased songs she performed on tour, including “Sad About It” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry”.

It was an amazing week for Gen-Z stars overall, and several others made it to our list of the best songs.
