]]>Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard recently discussed their plans for the future in a 10-minute Zoom call they shared on social media. They revealed they’re planning to branch out solo in 2021—Kelley is planning to release a solo album in a few months, while Hubbard intends to drop a new collaboration with Tim McGraw, titled “Undivided”.
“We created this freedom around ourselves that we can do whatever we want to do creatively and musically … It’s a beautiful place to be … able to venture out and have a voice of our own and have individuality a little bit,” explained Hubbard.
The duo added this doesn’t mean they’re going their separate ways, and added they’re just “venturing out”, but not breaking up. Calling it quits is also off the table because their next studio album Life Rolls On is set to hit the shelves on February 12th.

]]>In addition to sharing the title of their new LP, the members of Florida Georgia Line also revealed it will come out on February 12th, 2021, and said they’re humbled and excited to announce its release.
“This year has been a wild ride and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, you have to keep your head up high. This new music truly represents where we are in our lives right now and we can’t wait for y’all to hear it,” reads the duo’s statement on social media.
Life Rolls On will serve as the follow-up to their 2019 album Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, which topped the U.S. Country Album chart, like all of their previous albums so far. They dropped several new songs since its release, expected to be included on their upcoming album, including “I Love My Country” and “Long Live”.

“It was such an honor to have Jason Derulo on this one. It’s a song that just puts women on a platform like they so deserve. ‘Women’ is a tribute to all the women out there. We wouldn’t be here without them,” wrote the duo on Twitter.

]]>The event will be the sixth iHeartMedia’s such event and will bring together country musicians from all across the US. It will take place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin May 4th and will consist of more than a dozen artists.
“I look forward to the iHeart Country Festival every year,” the event’s creative director and producer Bobby Bones. “It’s always special to have so much of the Country music community together in one place, including some really talented new artists we have been supporting on Women of iHeart Country.”
Apart from the headliners, Frank Erwin, Luke Combs, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Lauren Alaina,
Since this year’s festival will be geared toward promoting young female artists, iHeartCountry is expected to name several female country musicians to grace the event. In the meantime, fans who intend to take part in the May event have one week until tickets are made available on February 8th.
Those who can’t attend also have the chance to listen to the event in any of the 150 country music radios owned by iHeartMedia.

]]>The guys described their latest effort as “a well-rounded album” and said it’s a throwback to ‘90s country they grew up with. They also teased a couple of pretty promising collaborations, including the ones with Jason Derulo and Jason Aldean.
Brian Kelley said they picked the bold title Can’t Say I Ain’t Country because it just sounded fun. They felt it would be a cool name to put on their album and upcoming tour and said it marks a new era for the band.
“You can say a lot of things. You can call somebody a lot of different names and have a lot of different opinions, but at the end of the day, when it comes to me and Tyler, you can’t say we ain’t country,” explained Kelley.
Florida Georgia Line will release this album on February 15, 2019, and they’re planning to embark on a tour in May. 2018 has been a pretty amazing year for this country duo since they scored a couple major awards and even received a Grammy nod alongside Bebe Rexha for hit single Meant to Be.

]]>Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley were busy working on their fourth studio album, a follow up to 2016’s Dig Your Roots. On Friday, they have finally presented us with the fruits of that work in the form of two brand new tracks, “Simple” and “Colorado.” These two songs are different by nature, with “Simple” being all about finding love and “Colorado” giving tips on how to successfully deal with a broken heart. You can listen to both songs below.
Although Florida Georgia Line revealed that they will release an album in 2018, they are still keeping the majority of details under wraps, including the title and release date. We do know that there will be some guests on the album including Jason Aldean. This was revealed by Tyler Hubbard in a recent interview.
“You know what, as of last week….we got Aldean to sing one with us,” said Hubbard while saying that the other guests are still not locked in to be featured on the album.
“We’re still waiting for the right opportunities,” he added. “We don’t like to force that. Just kind of wait and see what happens. We’re really excited about the song we did with [Aldean.] It sounds awesome.”
