]]>Megadeth and Five Finger Death Punch will cross the continent in January and February 2020. The two heavyweights will be joined by Bad Wolves, a hard rock act from Los Angeles.
Five Finger Death Punch guitarist, Zoltan Bathory, expressed his excitement towards the upcoming tour and said that Bad Wolves broke out big in recent years. “Megadeth needs no introduction, they are absolute legends,” said Bathory.
The guitarist continued: “Dave Mustaine’s contribution to this genre is simply immeasurable. I consider him one of the founding fathers of not just thrash but heavy Metal in general because his riffs and guitar playing have influenced everyone that was in Megadeth’s blast radius… and that’s a big radius.”
Mustain also wished to warn the fans not to miss this tour. “Hindsight is always 20-20, but looking back it’s still a bit fuzzy. Looking forward, you’ll be in trouble if you don’t come see us with Five Finger Death Punch in early 2020. You don’t wanna miss it. See you soon!”
Both bands are currently in the process of producing a new album. Mustaine has entered the studio while dealing with throat cancer.
Tickets will go on sell on Friday, September 13.

]]>Bassist Chris Kael recently visited Iowa-based radio station Lazer 103.3 to discuss their progress and revealed they’re currently in the best possible mindset to write new music.
“Early on in this cycle right now with the recording process, we have got three monsters that we’ve written and recorded in the studio. Having these three huge beasts in the can already, excited about playing out here live and getting back into the studio, I can only imagine what the rest of the record is going to be like,” said Kael.
Members of Five Finger Death Punch are currently taking a break from touring and using the time they have on their hands to work on the new album before going back on the road on November 1st. They’ll keep performing until December 15th, and wrap up the tour with a concert at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Idaho.

“Some nasty riffs, the vocals are great, kind of like War Is the Answer, Way of the Fist a little bit. For some reason, the music is kind of shifting back to that heavier side. I’m really curious to see how this is going to turn out, wow,” said Bathory.
Members of Five Finger Death Punch still haven’t shared a release date for this record, but it’s safe to expect it will be out in the next year or two. Their previous album And Justice for None came out last year and debuted at no. 4 on Billboard 200 chart.
