]]>Lollapalooza is returning to the iconic Grant Park in Chicago between July 31 and August 3, and it will welcome 170 artists across eight stages. Its next edition will be one star-studded affair, with Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter leading the lineup, and they’ll be in pretty good company.
Tyler, the Creator, Twice, Korn, Rüfüs Du Sol, Gracie Abrams, and Doechii are also among the headliners, along with Luke Combs. He’ll close the festival, which is a historic first for a country act. The girl group Twice will also make history as the first K-pop girl group to headline Lollapalooza.
The list of notable acts performing at Lollapalooza also includes Cage the Elephant, Clairo, Dominic Fike, Bleachers, Finneas, T-Pain, Dom Dolla, Remi Wolf, The Marías, Martin Garrix, Rebecca Black, The Dare, Måneskin’s Damiano David, Foster the People, and Wallows, among others.
Lollapalooza kicked off as a touring event in 1991, before Chicago became its permanent location in 2005. The festival’s popularity inspired many international editions, taking place in Chile, Brazil, France, India, and beyond.

]]>After a lot of anticipation, Lady Gaga’s long-awaited album Mayhem finally hit the shelves this Friday – and it was worth the wait! It marks an epic return to form for the singer who never feared to experiment with different genres and styles, and we singled out “Garden of Eden” as one of its best new songs.
Speaking of new albums, Jennie is the latest member of Blackpink to share her solo album Ruby with the world, and “Handlebars” ft. Dua Lipa is its buzziest new song. The indie rock singer Sasami also impressed us with her new LP Blood on the Silver Screen and made it to our list with “I’ll Be Gone”.
We’ve chosen to showcase many other amazing female artists on our list this week in celebration of International Women’s Day. Bishop Briggs has given us the defining girl power anthem of the week with her new song “Woman Is King” – and that’s just the beginning!
Check out the rest of our list to discover new music by the likes of Doechii, The Ophelias, and Rachel Chinouriri.

]]>The post Doechii Drops Visualizer for New Single “Anxiety” appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>Doechii originally performed “Anxiety” in a music session on her YouTube channel in 2019, but it took years for its studio version to see the light of day. She addressed her fans by writing, “Swamp, I heard y’all loud n clear!” and shared a visualizer that features two mirrored black-and-white images of herself, connected by her braids.
The song samples Gotye’s megahit “Somebody That I Used to Know” ft. Kimbra, and it started trending on TikTok in recent weeks, inspiring Doechii to seize the moment and drop it as a single. A sample of “Anxiety” was previously featured on Sleepy Hallow’s track of the same name from 2023.
Doechii didn’t have a huge following when “Anxiety” was first released, but her fans rediscovered it as her star rose in recent months. She made quite a splash with her latest mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, which won her a Grammy Award for the best rap album and produced hit singles “Nissan Altima” and “Denial Is a River”.

]]>K-pop superstar Jennie teased her upcoming debut album Ruby with the Doechii duet “ExtraL”, but this wasn’t the only buzzy collaboration to hit the shelves this week. Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco teased their joint album I Said I Love You First with “Call Me When You Break Up” ft. Gracie Abrams.
Several songs from our list also hail from the week’s most exciting album releases. “Revolving Door” made more buzz than any other song from Tate McRae’s So Close To What, while Sam Fender rocked our world with “Little Bit Closer” from People Watching.
Marina set the stage for her next album with one of our favorite new songs of the week, the sensual lead single “Butterfly”. It was a great week for indie artists overall – Suki Waterhouse, Fontaines DC, Wallows, and Mumford & Sons were also among the artists impressing us with their brand-new songs.

]]>No song this week created more commotion than Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra”, which she dropped right after the Grammy Awards. This catchy track marks the glorious return to her dance-pop roots, and she used it to set the stage for her upcoming album Mayhem.
Lady Gaga isn’t the only artist to celebrate her Grammy success by dropping a brand-new track. So did Doechii, who shared her new single “Nosebleeds” shortly after winning the award for the best rap album for Alligator Bites Never Heal.
K-pop star Lisa set the stage for her debut solo studio album Alter Ego with her most star-studded collaboration yet. She partnered up with Doja Cat and Raye for the catchy new single “Born Again”.
The rest of our list is equally impressive and it includes both rising stars and A-list names. Stick around to discover new music by everyone from Anitta and Givēon to The Black Keys and Chloe Slater.

]]>The video opens with Perry skydiving with her boyfriend, and singing “I’m his queen, I’m his freak/I’m every woman he wants and needs/I’m his dream, I’m his drug/I’m every woman he wants, so what?” before Doechii jumps in with her verse, “I’m his boss, I’m that bitch/I’m every woman he knows exists/I’m his main, I’m his side/I’m every woman that’s in his mind.”
The Torso-directed visual video is pretty action-packed, and it also sees Perry riding atop a silver Corvette in a metallic bikini and kissing her love interest in the middle of a busy street. In the meantime, Doechii is soaring through the air while grabbing onto a drone and showing off her dance skills throughout the video.
“I’m His, He’s Mine” is the third single from Perry’s upcoming studio album 143, set to hit the shelves on September 20. She promoted its release with singles “Woman’s World” and “Lifetimes”.
