]]>According to the press release, Lee Roth will be a part of Kiss’ live shows between February and October of 2020. The group is scheduled to play around 45 dates during that period.
“David Lee Roth will bring his exciting stage show featuring a twin guitar big rock sound and a setlist of classic hits and future energy,” Kiss’ official statement reads.
Lee Roth’s commitment to End of the Road tour means any hope that the long-rumored Van Halen reunion will take place soon is now gone. The 65-year-old vocalist himself also dismissed the reunion talks earlier in 2019, even saying that the band “is finished.”
Kiss kicked off the End of the Road tour back in January and are scheduled to be on the road until the summer of 2021, when they’ll have one last concert in their hometown of New York City on July 17, 2021. The group is currently in Asia, where they are wrapping up their five-cities Japan mini-tour.

]]>Van Halen’s vocalist David Lee Roth recently made an appearance on Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown where he dismissed the reunion talks and even said that the band is “finished.”
“It’s been canceled a number of times and I think Van Halen’s finished,” said Roth.
According to Roth, he is currently focused on his Las Vegas residency, where fans will have an opportunity to hear many of Van Halen classics. The residency will take place at House of Blues Las Vegas, with three shows planned for January and six more coming in March.
Although they never officially disbanded, Van Halen hasn’t played together since 2015. The original bassist, Michael Anthony, hinted in late 2018 that the reunion is on the cards, saying he was approached for a reunion.
This would be the first time since 1984 that the band would play in a lineup consisting of Eddie and Alex Van Halen, David Lee Roth, and Anthony. Still, the talks stalled and the planned reunion never took place.
