]]>Aurora is coming our way on January 24th, and it will feature acoustic versions of band’s biggest hits and a new track titled “Far Away.” Special guests joined Breaking Benjamin in the studio to record these new renditions, including Scooter Ward of Cold and Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath.
Breaking Benjamin is dedicating this album to their loyal fans, who’ve been there for them through both dark and euphoric times, and shared a unique emotional connection with the band throughout it all.
“This album is a celebration of our incredible fans; for those who have been there since hearing ‘So Cold’ for the first time in 2004, and the new ones who have joined us on this amazing journey along the way,” said band’s frontman Ben Burnley.
Breaking Benjamin will promote the release of their new album during a joint tour with Korn, which kicks off at Allentown, Pennsylvania on January 23rd.

]]>The band’s frontman Benjamin Burnley recently did an interview with Consequence of Sound, and revealed that touring wasn’t the only thing keeping them busy in the last few months. They’ve also been working on a new stripped-down album.
“The acoustic album will have Breaking Benjamin songs done acoustic, plus two or three new songs. We’re working on arrangements and strings on there, so it’s been a lot of fun, and we’re looking forward to it coming out,” explained Burnley.
It’s unclear when we can expect this acoustic album, since the band is scheduled to spend the whole summer performing. They’ll hit the road alongside Chevelle and Three Days Grace on July 21st, and wrap up their co-headlining tour on September 25th in Salt Lake City.

]]>The festival, which will take place from September 27th to September 29th in Louisville will also see performances from Ice Cube, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, A Day to Remember, Suicidal Tendencies, Stone Temple Pilots, Breaking Benjamin and many more.
“Slipknot has always had some of the most loyal, rabid fans in rock, but now they are at that pivotal moment when they’ve crossed over into iconic status; Disturbed has had their best touring numbers to date this year; then top it off with one of the biggest rock bands of all time in Guns N’ Roses…this year is our most massive lineup yet,” – said festival producer Danny Wimmer in a statement.
One of the most anticipated sets on Louder Than Life, however, will be the one from recently reunited Staind. This will be the band’s first live performance together in more than five years.
“We wouldn’t be living up to the name Louder Than Life if we didn’t come back bigger and badder than ever, giving fans something they can’t see anywhere else,” – Wimmer added.”Getting Staind back together and plugged in on the main stage is something that I’ve been working on for years. These are songs that need to be heard, that fans have been dying to hear — Staind has been one of the most requested bands on our socials, and it’s an honor to be bringing their music back for the fans at Louder Than Life.”
