]]>After a lot of anticipation, Lady Gaga’s long-awaited album Mayhem finally hit the shelves this Friday – and it was worth the wait! It marks an epic return to form for the singer who never feared to experiment with different genres and styles, and we singled out “Garden of Eden” as one of its best new songs.
Speaking of new albums, Jennie is the latest member of Blackpink to share her solo album Ruby with the world, and “Handlebars” ft. Dua Lipa is its buzziest new song. The indie rock singer Sasami also impressed us with her new LP Blood on the Silver Screen and made it to our list with “I’ll Be Gone”.
We’ve chosen to showcase many other amazing female artists on our list this week in celebration of International Women’s Day. Bishop Briggs has given us the defining girl power anthem of the week with her new song “Woman Is King” – and that’s just the beginning!
Check out the rest of our list to discover new music by the likes of Doechii, The Ophelias, and Rachel Chinouriri.

]]>This week has been pretty slow in terms of major album releases, but that didn’t stop Bon Iver from rocking our world with their new EP Sable. The indie folk band shared four new songs on this record, each one amazing in its own right, but “Things Behind Things Behind Things” emerged as our favorite.
Speaking of new albums, Kylie Minogue returned with the sequel album Tension II, continuing her ongoing love affair with electronic music. In addition to collaborations with Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, Sia, and The Blessed Madonna, the Australian singer prepared several solo songs, such as “Someone For Me”.
It was a great week for female vocalists overall, with artists from all genres and corners of the world making it to our list. Blackpink’s Rosé created more buzz than anyone with her new single “APT.” ft. Bruno Mars, but our list also includes new songs by Gracie Abrams, FKA Twigs, Bishop Briggs, and many more.

]]>Two of the buzziest new songs this week saw our favorite artists join forces. Lady Gaga found a perfect partner in crime in Bruno Mars and rocked our world with their collaboration “Die with a Smile”, while Lisa and Rosalía joined forces for a sleek and confident girl power anthem “New Woman”.
When it comes to new albums released this week, Post Malone finally shared his country-leaning new LP F-1 Trillion. This record produced many hit collaborations even before hitting the shelves, and “Have The Heart” ft. Dolly Parton is among the album’s best.
The indie pop band Foster the People returned with a new album Paradise State of Mind, and impressed us with the new song “See You in the Afterlife”, while Hozier’s new EP Unaired has given us three new songs, including “Nobody’s Soldier”.
Halsey also created a lot of buzz with her new single “Lonely is the Muse”, and managed to make it to our list alongside The Blessed Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Bishop Briggs, Benson Boone, and Coco Jones.

]]>Bishop Briggs detailed her upcoming LP in a lengthy Instagram post and revealed she wrote it in the midst of a breakup. She tried to create a record she needed to hear at the time, and she’s hoping this album will provide the same kind of comfort to everyone who hears it.
“I hope this album can be the hand that wipes the tears from your cheeks, the shiver down your spine when you feel like yourself again, and the lightness in your spirit when you have closure… even if it’s just for a fleeting moment,” she said.
She used her new single “Jekyll & Hide” to chronicle “the chaotic feeling of dating someone who has two very different sides.” Briggs also revealed her new album will come out on November 8th, and it will feature previously released tracks “Champion” and “Tattoed on My Heart”.
