Reneé Rapp made a shocking decision to leave the HBO Max comedy series The S-x Lives of College Girls to focus on touring, and all eyes are now on her debut studio album Snow Angel.

]]>After a lot of anticipation, Labrinth dropped his long-awaited Billie Eilish collaboration. It might sound familiar because we’ve previously heard a snippet of this track on Euphoria, but that didn’t stop the new version from becoming an instant hit.
April 7 marked the release of several new albums, and Ellie Goulding’s Higher Than Heaven created the most buzz. Since we previously got to hear four of the album’s best songs, we had to settle for “Better Man” as its best new release.
This week has also been a great week for alternative pop vocalists and several made it to our list with their brand-new songs, including Caroline Polachek, Maisie Peters, and Ashnikko. Their new music is worth waiting for, and we’re excited to see what they’re going to do next.
Check out the rest of our best songs of the week to discover new music by NF, BTS’s Suga, Nicki Minaj, Noah Cyrus, and many more!

]]>Ashnikko teased the album’s release by sharing its cover with the world and writing a lengthy caption that chronicles her creative journey. The singer said she’s “been pouring [her] heart blood into conceptualizing, myth-making, and lore-building” this album with some of the closest collaborators, and thanked her fans for being a part of her post-apocalyptic dystopian world.
Ashnikko’s press release described this album as “a commentary on environmental disaster and the rapid evolution of technology” that tells the tale of “fae civilization occupied and destroyed by machines that feed on organic matter where the faerie protagonist seeks revenge by becoming part machine.”
Weedkiller will be released on June 2 through Parlophone and Warner Records, and it serves as the follow-up to her 2021 debut mixtape Demidevil. It will feature a total of 13 tracks, including previously released singles “You Make Me Sick!” and “Worms”. Ashnikko will celebrate its release by embarking on a huge world tour across Asia, New Zealand, Australia, North America, and Europe.
