The Jonas Brothers frontman divulged his strong appreciation for Springsteen and maintained that if a biopic was ever made about him, he’s calling dibs on the role.

In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Jonas explained, “Growing up in New Jersey, Bruce obviously has a special place in my heart and my creative life. And it is a dream of mine to play him in a movie one day and tell his story in some way that would be honoring to him and that he could be involved with.”

Biopics have become more and more popular since the start of the millennium, with late music legends such as Ray Charles, Freddie Mercury, and Johnny Cash receiving films about them as well (Ray, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Walk The Line, respectively).

It’s unclear whether or not a film about Springsteen is in the works, but clearly, Jonas wants to make sure that he has the role locked in if they ever decide to make one.

Jonas became a child star as part of the rock group The Jonas Brothers, but eventually, the group disbanded. He then started a solo career, and delved into acting as well, starring in the action-comedy Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

“(I) could only hope to have a career as lengthy as his and as important as his has been to people,” Jonas relayed about Springsteen.

Whether or not he gets his wish, it’s still touching to see Jonas showing such a strong appreciation for the rockers that paved the way.

The cover isn’t exactly intended to be “serious”, considering the fact that they can be seen doing it live in their kitchen. The two artists are married, and thus entertained themselves as well as their fans while churning out this unproduced yet passionate cover.

This isn’t the first time that Fripp and Wilcox have put together a cover like this. In fact, they’ve been doing it for a whole year now. During quarantine last year, the pair launched an informal YouTube series titled Sunday Lunch, where they began to post covers of various songs, always in their kitchen.

Some of the other songs they’ve covered include Britney Spears’ “Toxic”, Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, and Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze”.

Fripp’s former band, King Crimson, was a progressive rock band in the 70s that helped push the envelope of rock, not unlike bands such as Genesis, Rush, and Yes.

While this video isn’t exactly a King Crimson reunion, fans of the band are likely happy to see Fripp having fun rocking out with his wife during this crazy time period.

It was announced that the group was “exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19”, which has led them to be ushered into immediate quarantine.

As the band’s management wrote on social media, “The health and safety of our artist, staff, and production team is our priority and we are thankful for your support and understanding.”

Originally, the group was set to perform in a virtual launch event to accompany the March 9th release of their single “WHAT?”. The single was still released as promised, but unfortunately the live comeback event will have to be rescheduled.

This song release is their first since “Get In The Zone”, their debut album that was released in 2020. “WHAT?” is expected to be in the band’s second album, although it’s unclear when this album will come out.

If their first album is any indication, SB19 looks to have a bright future ahead of them. At the Wish Music Awards in January, they impressed many by winning the awards Group Of The Year and Pop Song Of The Year.

Luckily for them, CyHi’s recent statements should be an optimistic sign for things to come. In an interview with VladTV, CyHi claimed that he and West continued working on the album “late last year”, and that they’re still working on it now.

CyHi revealed: “Once November, December, January comes around, [West] kind of takes a hiatus, a little vacation break, get with the family. We’re back working, that’s why I’m out here, too.”

CyHi was also asked in the interview how West was faring after his divorce from socialite Kim Kardashian. He responded that West was “in good spirits”. This new information, along with a possible upcoming album, is nothing but great news regarding the famous rapper.
