]]>This Friday marked the release of numerous new albums, but none of them created more buzz than The Weeknd’s long-awaited record Hurry Up Tomorrow. It’s a collection of 21 brand-new songs, each one amazing in its own right, and we singled out “Cry For Me” as one of the early favorites.
This has also been a pretty epic week for amazing collaborations. We’ve seen many of our favorite indie artists join forces, starting with Sasami and Clairo, whose duet “In Love With A Memory” is the best of both worlds.
James Bay and Jon Batiste partnered up for “Sunshine in the Room”, while Jamie xx and Erykah Badu rocked our world with their unexpected collaboration “F.U.” Indie rock darlings Julien Baker and Torres impressed us with their new duet “Sylvia”.
The rest of our list is equally amazing, and it features brand-new tracks from a wide range of genres, from country to R&B. Stick around to discover new songs by The Lumineers, Cat Burns, Jessie Reyez, Zach Bryan, and Nessa Barrett.

]]>In a pretty slow week for new major releases, no new song created as much buzz as “Tough”. The collaboration between Quavo and Lana Del Rey is an unexpected but welcomed surprise, and it serves as an introduction to Del Rey’s upcoming country-themed album Lasso.
Speaking of new albums, Kasabian returned with Happenings this Friday, and “Italian Horror” emerged as one of its best songs. The country star Zach Bryan shared his new studio album The Great American Bar Scene, which has given us several amazing collaborations and his next big fit “28”.
This week marked the return of Childish Gambino with “Lithonia”, from his upcoming soundtrack album Bando Stone & the New World. Kesha also made a comeback with her first single of 2024, the electropop banger “Joyride”.
Beabadoobee, Jessie Ware, Romy, Killer Mike, OneRepublic, and Lainey Wilson also made it to our list, so buckle up to discover their new music.

]]>The country-rock star managed to earn 200,000 equivalent album units with his fourth LP during its first week on the Billboard 200, setting several milestones along the way. This marks the largest week for a rock album in four years and the biggest streaming week ever for a rock album, according to Billboard’s official data.
Zach Bryan also scored the fifth-largest debut streaming week for a country album, in addition to being the third country title to hit no. 1 in the US this year. It follows in the footsteps of Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time and Taylor Swift’s Speak No (Taylor’s Version).
Zach Bryan’s self-titled album hit the shelves on August 25 and it was entirely self-produced by the singer himself. The guest appearances by The War and Treaty, Sierra Ferrell, Kacey Musgraves, and The Lumineers helped increase the interest for this record, eventually pushing it to no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

]]>This week marked a major comeback for two of our favorite former Disney stars – Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. They both announced new songs last week and supported each other on social media before finally sharing them with the world on Friday.
Gomez delivered a club-ready girl power anthem with “Single Soon”, her first solo single of 2023. As for Cyrus, she opted for a completely different approach with a soaring ballad “Used To Be Young”, which sees her reflecting on the mistakes she made in her past.
The rest of our list of best songs of the week includes an interesting mix of different genres, ranging from indie rock to country. Zach Bryan made the cut with his recently released self-titled album, which produced A-list collaboration “I Remember Everything” feat. Kacey Musgraves.
Our list also includes new music from The Killers, Mitski, Victoria Monét, and Conan Gray, so get ready to add them to your playlist.

]]>This Friday marked the release of several highly-anticipated new albums, starting with Twenty One Pilots’ Clancy. They delayed its release to make time to film a music video for each song from this record, and the latest single “The Craving” was worth waiting for.
Several songs from our list were taken from new albums by our favorite artists, including Bring Me the Horizon’s “Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd blood” from Post Human: Nex Gen, Wallows’s “You (Show Me Where My Days Went)” from Model, and Lenny Kravitz’s “Paralyzed” from Blue Electric Light.
As for the rest of our list, everyone will find a song that’s up to your taste. Indie pop girlies should check out Clairo’s “Se-y to Someone”, R&B fans will enjoy PinkPantheress’s “Turn It Up” and FLO’s “Caught Up”, while “Love Bites” by Nelly Furtado, Tove Lo, and SG Lewis will satisfy your cravings for the next big dance-pop banger.
