The rest of our list is equally amazing, and it features brand-new tracks from a wide range of genres, from country to R&B. Stick around to discover new songs by The Lumineers, Cat Burns, Jessie Reyez, Zach Bryan, and Nessa Barrett.

Zach Bryan is one of the biggest rising stars in the world of country, and it was just a matter of time before one of his albums soared to no. 1. That moment is finally here, and he managed to score his first chart-topping record atop the Billboard 200 with his self-titled new album Zach Bryan.

The country-rock star managed to earn 200,000 equivalent album units with his fourth LP during its first week on the Billboard 200, setting several milestones along the way. This marks the largest week for a rock album in four years and the biggest streaming week ever for a rock album, according to Billboard’s official data.

Zach Bryan also scored the fifth-largest debut streaming week for a country album, in addition to being the third country title to hit no. 1 in the US this year. It follows in the footsteps of Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time and Taylor Swift’s Speak No (Taylor’s Version).

Zach Bryan’s self-titled album hit the shelves on August 25 and it was entirely self-produced by the singer himself. The guest appearances by The War and Treaty, Sierra Ferrell, Kacey Musgraves, and The Lumineers helped increase the interest for this record, eventually pushing it to no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Summer is slowly drawing to a close, but new candidates for the songs of the summer are still pouring in. From Miley Cyrus’ “Used To Be Young” to The Killers’ “Your Side of Town”, we’re bringing you ten brand-new tracks that defined this week.

This week marked a major comeback for two of our favorite former Disney stars – Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. They both announced new songs last week and supported each other on social media before finally sharing them with the world on Friday.

Gomez delivered a club-ready girl power anthem with “Single Soon”, her first solo single of 2023. As for Cyrus, she opted for a completely different approach with a soaring ballad “Used To Be Young”, which sees her reflecting on the mistakes she made in her past.

The rest of our list of best songs of the week includes an interesting mix of different genres, ranging from indie rock to country. Zach Bryan made the cut with his recently released self-titled album, which produced A-list collaboration “I Remember Everything” feat. Kacey Musgraves.

Our list also includes new music from The Killers, Mitski, Victoria Monét, and Conan Gray, so get ready to add them to your playlist.

Miley Cyrus – Used To Be Young

Zach Bryan – I Remember Everything (feat. Kacey Musgraves)

Selena Gomez – Single Soon

The Killers – Your Side of Town

Mitski – Heaven

Victoria Monét – Alright

Conan Gray – Winner

YUNGBLUD – Hated

Our favorite artists have been lying low in the past few days, but that didn’t stop this week from giving us some pretty amazing new songs. From Tyla and Griff to Jorja Smith and Julia Michaels, we’re bringing you a new collection of ten amazing songs worth putting on your playlist this week.

In a pretty slow week for new music releases, Tyla managed to make quite a splash with her latest singles. The young South African singer gave us another sensual and empowering single with “Push 2 Start”, which created more buzz than any other song released this week.

When it comes to new albums and EPs released this Friday, rising star Myles Smith impressed us with “Nice To Meet You” from A Minute… A$AP Ferg dropped the self-titled record Darold, which produced several pretty great collaborations, including “French Tips” ft. Coco Jones.

We’ve also seen several artists return with a double single this week. Zach Bryan dropped “High Road” and “This World’s A Giant” on the same day, while Jorja Smith released “Loving You” ft. Maverick Sabre and “Don’t Let Me Go”.

Check out the rest of our list for this week to discover new music by Griff, Julia Michaels, Celeste, Perrie, and Alice Phoebe Lou.

Zach Bryan will enter this year’s People’s Choice Country Awards as the most-nominated artist ahead of Beyoncé, with 19 nominations. The list of major nominees also includes Kacey Musgraves with 15 nods, Shaboozey with 12, and Kane Brown and Morgan Wallen with 11 each.

This week marked the return of Childish Gambino with “Lithonia”, from his upcoming soundtrack album Bando Stone & the New World. Kesha also made a comeback with her first single of 2024, the electropop banger “Joyride”.

Blackpink – The Girls

Omar Apollo – Ice Slippin
