]]> Yoko Ono just announced that she is releasing her new studio album, Warzone, on October 19th. The catch is that her 11th studio album won’t have any new tracks. Instead, the record will see Ono re-imagining 13 of her old songs from the period between 1970 and 2009.

As part of the announcement, Yoko Ono also presented a new version of her 1995’s song “Warzone.” You can check it out below.

Ono will also preview a new track from the album every Tuesday for 12 weeks straight until the release. You can take a look at the artwork below.

“The world is so messed up. Things are very difficult for everybody. It’s a warzone that we are living in. I like to create things in a new way. Every day things change,” said Ono in the statement.

The interesting thing is that the Warzone will close with Yoko Ono’s take on John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Ono was recognized as the song’s co-writer last year, 48 years after the track was initially released.
