]]>Instead of spending months teasing her second studio album, Stallion told her fans it will be hitting the shelves just a day before its release on August 12. To be fair, we knew something was coming because she’s been dropping hints about this record for quite some time—we just didn’t know its official release date.
The Dua Lipa collaboration “Sweetest Pie” was released as the album’s first single. It was followed by two more singles – “Plan B” and “Pressurelicious” with Future. The full album features a total of 18 tracks, including collaborations with Jhené Aiko, Ricko Nasty, and Latto.
Traumazine features some of Stallion’s most persona songs to date. The hip-hop star admitted she was nervous to talk about her “real feelings”, but it made her feel really good to see her fans embrace her at her best and her worst.
“On this album I wrote my feelings accordingly. Like, I was sad and I wrote a sad song, I was angry and I wrote a more aggressive song. I feel like I was really confronting my real feelings,” Stallion told the crowd at the Summer Concert Series.
