The song was previously debuted live at Bernie Sanders’ rally in Durham, New Hampshire last week alongside several others from the highly anticipated studio release The New Abnormal. Now, the band dropped the studio version of the track accompanied by Andrew Donoho-directed music video.

The “Bad Decisions” melody is heavily influenced by Billy Idol’s “Dancing with Myself,” and the ’80s star is credited as one of the writers on the song. Hear it below.

The Strokes’ new LP will be out on April 10th and will mark the group’s first studio release since 2013’s Countdown Machine. We already had the opportunity to hear the album’s first single “At the Door” while the band debuted several other tracks live, including “Ode to the Mets” and “The Adults Are Talking.”

Before the album officially drops, the group is scheduled to play several live shows around the world, so we should hear more previews soon.  They are also expected to announce new tour dates in the near future.
