October is coming to a close, and our favorite artists certainly ended it on a high note. Taylor Swift made it to our list of the best songs of the week with the re-recorded version of her seminal album 1989, along with The Kid Laroi, Rema, Green Day, and Brent Faiyaz.

We can count on Swift to create a commotion every time she shares a new re-recording of her old albums with the world, and she’s done it once again with 1989. “S-ut!” was released as it’s lead single, and she revealed that she liked this song so much that she even considered leaving it on the original album instead of one of her biggest hits, “Blank Space”.

1989 (Taylor’s Version) pretty much overshadowed every album that hit the shelves this week, but some of them still managed to make it to our list. Brent Faiyaz made quite a splash with Larger Than Life and gave us several amazing collaborations including “Outside All Night” ft. A$AP Rocky & N3WYRKLA. Music from new albums by The Kills, Jay Wheeler, and Poppy also made the cut.

We also made sure to include new songs by The Kid LAROI, Rema, Green Day, Mary J. Blige, and Alec Benjamin, and it’s up to you to pick your favorite.

Taylor Swift – “S-ut!”

The Kid LAROI – “What Just Happened”

Rema – “Don’t Leave””

Green Day – “The American Dream Is Killing Me”

Mary J. Blige – “Still Believe in Love (feat. Vado)”

Alec Benjamin – “Different Kind Of Beautiful”

Jay Wheeler – “Repeat”

The Kills – “Wasterpiece”

Brent Faiyaz – “Outside All Night feat. A$AP Rocky & N3WYRKLA”

Poppy – “ZIG”

Our list of the best songs of the week was always going to be fire because several of the summer’s most anticipated albums hit the shelves this Friday. Travis Scott and Post Malone rocked our world with their new LPs, while Offset and Cardi B gave us another epic collaboration by each other’s side.

Travis Scott’s Utopia is definitely the week’s most anticipated new release, and it’s given us more epic collaborations than we can count. Scott even managed to bring Beyonce on board, and gave us one of the album’s best songs with “Delresto (Echoes)”.

Post Malone also knocked it out of the park with his self-titled new album Austin, and we opted for “Enough is Enough” as its best new song. The English pop star Anne-Marie also dropped a new album this Friday, and her Khalid collaboration “You & I” made it to our list.

This week has been amazing for hip-hop releases, starting with “Jealousy” by Offset & Cardi B, but we also made sure to include some songs that don’t fall under this genre. From Mitski’s “Bug Like an Angel” and The Kills’ “New York” to “Desire” by Calvin Harris and Sam Smith, there’s something for everyone on our list of the best songs of the week.

Travis Scott & Beyonce – “Delresto (Echoes)”

Offset & Cardi B – “Jealousy”

Post Malone – “Enough Is Enough”

The Kills – “New York”

Mitski – “Bug Like an Angel”

Calvin Harris, Sam Smith – “Desire”

Roy Woods – “Hate Me ft Coi Leray”

James Blake – “Loading”

Anne-Marie – “You & I feat. Khalid”

Laufey – “Bewitched”

The Croatian INmusic festival is quickly becoming one of the most popular European music festivals. The 13th edition of the festival, which kicked off on June 25th, immediately showed why is that. INmusic’s lineup was rich with all kinds of popular and up-and-coming bands and music acts so that everyone could find something for themselves.

One of the most impressive shows was that of British-American indie rockers The Kills. Fronted by energetic singer Alison Mosshart, The Kills landed on the World Stage and immediately showed why they are they such popular live act.

Mosshart’s hypnotizing voice and her magnetic behavior on the scene quickly filled up the venue and gave the audience more than an hour of great music. Everyone genuinely enjoyed the show, and it looked like the band was also having fun as well.

The only knockoff was that The Kills spend too much of their setlist on the songs from their last album, and missed tracks that the audience hoped it will hear.

Speaking of crushing out the dreams and hopes of the audience, we also had a chance to listen to Queens Of The Stone Age. Being able to hear one of the best rock bands of today in person is as awesome as advertised. From stage settings to sound production, everything was on point.

Frontman Josh Home was set on to give the audience the best time of their life and almost managed to do so. Queens Of The Stone Age were badass, raw, loud, and mean while going through their extensive catalog of songs which lifted the audience. There was synchronized clapping, sing-alongs, and jumping all along with occasional jokes directed to the people in the front row.

Unfortunately, it all seemed a bit too short. Also, they skipped some of their biggest hits including “In My Head.”
