]]>Brat and It’s Completely Different, but Also Still Brat will be released on October 11, and it will feature remixes of songs from her latest studio album Brat. It hit the shelves back in June and became a true cultural phenomenon, inspiring the viral trend “brat summer”, in addition to producing hit singles “Von Dutch”, “360”, and “Apple”.
Charli XCX dropped several Brat remixes before the remix album was even officially announced, including “Von Dutch” ft. Addison Rae, “360” ft. Robyn and Yung Lean, “Girl, So Confusing” ft. Lorde, “Guess” ft. Billie Eilish, “Talk Talk” ft. Troye Sivan – and there’s more where that came from!
Charli XCX teased new remixes with a series of billboards in the hometowns of her collaborators, with their names spelled backward on the lime green backgrounds. They sparked a lot of commotion online, and the singer eventually confirmed who’ll be featured on the new version of Brat, listing Ariana Grande, The 1975, The Japanese House, Bon Iver, Caroline Polachek, and Tinashe as some of her collaborators.

]]>Several major artists chose June 21 as the release date of their new albums, starting with Kehlani, who knocked us off our feet with Crash. It was also a great week for Gracie Abrams, who released her sophomore album The Secret of Us, and stirred quite a commotion with the A-list collaboration “Us.” feat. Taylor Swift.
It was a great week for amazing collaborations overall, and quite a few made it to our list. Maren Morris and Julia Michaels proved they’re a match made in heaven with “Cut!”, while Jamie xx and Robyn joined forces for “Life”.
It’s also been a great week for remixes of songs we already know and love. Ariana Grande did the most meta thing ever and invited Brandy and Monica to hop on a remix of “The Boy is Mine”, while Charli XCX recorded a new version of “Girl, So Confusing” alongside Lorde.
Check out the rest of our list to discover new music by Coldplay, Lola Young, Suki Waterhouse, and The Japanese House.

]]>This week has been pretty slow in terms of new releases because most of our favorite stars took a break to celebrate Thanksgiving with their loved ones. That didn’t stop our favorite artists outside of the United States from dropping new music and giving us some amazing new songs in the process.
This has been an amazing week for female collaborations, and two of the best songs from our list fall under that category. Kali Uchis and Karol G knocked it out of the park with their new collaboration “Labios Mordidos”, while Björk and Rosalía seamlessly blended their unique artistic styles on their new duet “Oral”.
Speaking of great collaborations to make it to our list, Jacob Collier’s new song “Witness Me” is also worth listening to and features contributions from Shawn Mendes, Stormzy, and Kirk Franklin.
It’s also been a great week for alternative artists, with Winona Oak, The Japanese House, and Sam Fischer managing to beat tough competition and make it to our list of the best new songs of the week.

]]>Olivia Rodrigo’s long-awaited comeback single “Vampire” is definitely the week’s most exciting new release. The young singer used it to set the tone for her sophomore studio album Guts, which she officially announced about a week before sharing this song with the world.
As far as new albums go, none created more buzz than Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape. The rapper’s new LP features collaborations with Travis Scott, Bring Me The Horizon, Don Toliver, and Babymetal, but none of them compares to the Nicki Minaj duet “Endless Fashion”.
Soundtracks for Barbie and The Idol made another appearance on our list this week. Charli XCX’s long-awaited Barbie song “Speed Drive” is here, and it exceeded our wildest expectations. Suzanna Son remains the best thing about The Idol soundtrack and she joined forces with The Weeknd and Lil Baby for “False Idols” this time around.
Check out the rest of our list to discover new music by Bad Bunny, Shakira, Nothing But Thieves, Jon Batiste, and many more.
