Their U.S. trip will kick off in Camden, New Jersey on November 16^th. After that, the group will make stops in Raleigh, Greenville, and New Orleans, before wrapping up the journey in Broomfield, Colorado on December 1st.  This tour will follow a  busy summer for the band which will see them playing shows in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

The 1975 will tour in support of their third studio album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, which was released in late 2018. The record met with critical acclaim, with the reviews praising the album’s “eclectic nature and lyrical relevance.” Some critics even went as far as comparing it to Radiohead’s OK Computer. It was also a commercial success, topping the UK Charts and peaking at No.4 on the US Billboard 200.

Following the record’s success, the group went on to win British Album of the Year at the 2019 Brit Awards.

The indie band are currently on their U.S. tour and were due to play a show at Colorado’s Red Rock on May 1. Unfortunately, the band were caught in a snowstorm and were forced to cancel on the day.

“Tonight’s 1975 concert at Red Rocks is canceled due to road closures across Interstate 80,” a statement from their label, Dirty Hit, declared. “The 1975 and all their equipment are stuck on Interstate 80 and unable to reach Red Rock to perform tonight.

“The band love playing at Red Rocks and are gutted to not be able to make the show this evening due to the adverse weather conditions. They’ll be back as soon as they can to make up for it.”

Frontman Matt Healy shared the statement on Twitter and added: “I’m really gutted we can’t play Red Rocks tonight we love it there so much.”
