]]>Before the album of the week was released, this teaser video was dropped with Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande dancing with their crews while the skies open up with rain and knives falling down. Besides for the amazing hair, makeup, and outfits, the bright color-themed background and visuals are eye-popping. It’s the girl-power anthem we all need and we can’t get the chorus out of our heads, “I’d rather be dry but at least I’m alive.”
The second release from the forthcoming posthumous album, Outsiders, assembled by the family of Juice WRLD, the Chicago rapper who died from an overdose last year, comes with a video directed by Cole Bennett and a call for support to the Live Free 999 Fund. The fund is a charitable organization that helps people struggling with mental health and was established by the rapper’s mother this year.
The New Orleans group released a breezy song about Outcast member Andre 3000, who has been featured on the artists’ songs, but hasn’t been doing much music for the past 15 years. In a statement accompanying the song the band said, “We love André 3000. We love Outkast. André has culturally shaped hip-hop in a very unique way from his clothing to his cadence.”
Parx has made songs for Ariana Grande, Janelle Monae, and Christina Aguilera and her new song has an upbeat tempo mixed with a ’70s soul groove with the chorus, “I don’t wanna dance alone…” Her second album Coping Mechanism comes out later this year.

]]>Parx has been around for years, but her star really started to rise last year, when four of the songs she co-wrote made it to the Billboard Hot 100. Over the years, she collaborated with more chart-topping artists than we can think of – including Fifth Harmony, Janelle Monáe, Christina Aguilera and her BFF Ariana Grande.
Working shoulder to shoulder with the biggest hit-makers in the world was a valuable learning lesson, but Tayla Parx is finally ready to become one of them. Her debut album “We Need to Talk” hit the shelves on April 5, and its title makes it clear that Parx doesn’t intend to play it safe.
“Right now, this album is kind of a paragraph on what’s been happening for the past year and a half in my own personal life… So there’s really this sense of discovery about a lot about what I feel like we need to talk about,” said Parx in an interview with Billboard.
