]]>SZA revealed earlier this year that Lana will serve as a deluxe version of her critically acclaimed second studio album SOS. But the project appears to be much more than that, considering that the R&B star referred to it as “like a whole ‘nother album” in one interview and promised “seven to 10” new tracks.
The “Good Days” singer is yet to share the release date for Lana, but getting the cover art out is a good sign that something will happen soon. Some of the cover art variations feature SZA wearing a jersey with No. 15, prompting the fans to believe the album will drop on December 15.
SZA also took it on social media to celebrate the first anniversary of SOS. She posted the cover of the album on Instagram and wrote in the caption that the album is “ACTIVELY CHANGING MY LIFE.”
“I never imagined we’d accomplish a fraction of the accolades that came from this .. it often doesn’t feel real and it’s funny cause I swore I’d know what to do if it ever happened turns out I I froze,” SZA added.
Check out a few of the proposed cover art for Lana below.

SZA’s problems began back in May when her label Top Dawg Entertainment announced that the singer will withdraw from the label’s United States tour due to swollen vocal chords. TDE’s founder Top Dawg issued a statement following the announcement, and said that she “needs to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage.”

SZA also confirmed at the time that there is a possibility of her voice being permanently damaged, writing: “I’m not sick my voice just won’t f***ing work. If I don’t pause now I’ll be forced to pause permanently.”
After her debut release Ctrl received critical acclaim, SZA is currently working on a follow-up album. She recently collaborated with Maroon 5 on the song “What Lovers Do,” and was featured on Cardi B’s debut album Invasion of Privacy.
