]]>Clear 2: Soft Life will be released on May 19 via LVRN and Interscope Records. She previously teased this project while chatting with Billboard, and said she wants it to be longer than its predecessor, which featured four tracks: “Riot,” “Grave,” “Wasted” and “Settling”.
“The last one was like four songs. This one – I want it to be a lot longer so I can really get that sound out. That’s my favorite type of sound. I make what I got to make for the radio, but I’m very excited for [Clear 2]. Hopefully, my budget will be permitted,” she told Billboard.
Just a few months after dropping Clear, Walker released her first album Over It, which earned the biggest streaming week ever for an R&B album by a woman at the time, even surpassing the debut week of Beyoncé’s Lemonade. Its follow-up Still Over It came out in 2021, and it became Walker’s first album to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart.

]]>The Lacey Duke-directed video hits close to home as it was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia – the city where both of the singers grew up. The duo can be seen hanging around several spots in Atlanta, most notably 285 Flea Market where most of the video has been shot.
The video also features a cameo from Usher’s frequent collaborator Jermaine Dupri, while London on Da Track, who produced the song, can be seen alongside Walker. “Come Thru” originally came out on October 3rd, 2019 and peaked at no. 42 on Billboard Hot 100.
We can easily see it climbing higher after this video, and even becoming Walker’s best-charting song to date. That honor currently belongs to her single “Playing Games” which peaked at no. 16 on Billboard Hot 100.
