]]>Titled Sting: My Songs, the 16-dates residency will kick off on May 22, 2020, and run through September 2020. The shows will see Sting perform hits from his extensive catalog including songs from his time with The Police as well as his solo works and contain “dynamic, visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations.”
Tickets for the shows will be on sale from May 3, 2019, with the price and full info yet to be revealed. Sting.com fan club members got the access to presale as of April 25th.
“Visually, sound-wise, dancing — it’s going to be a Vegas show. I’m really committed to that,” – Sting told the Associated Press. “I am a little frightened and a little excited at the same time.”
“Being in one place is actually a different, spiritual vibe,” – he added. “Welcoming people into your house — that’s basically what it’s going to be. I’ll be telling the story of my life through songs. I’ve had a long, interesting life and I can’t wait.”
Sting will join a rapidly expanding list of music acts who are taking their talents to Las Vegas. As of recently, that list includes Aerosmith, Cardi B, Drake, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and many others.
