]]> It’s been almost five years since the release of Skepta’s last studio album, but he’s finally ready for a comeback! The British rapper and DJ recently took to social media to announce the release of his sixth studio album Knife and Fork.

Skepta wished his fans a happy 2024 in a recent post on social media and thanked them for their patience over the years. He also revealed that his next studio album Knife and Fork is loading, and he’ll give us a taste of things to come with the first single “Gas Me Up (Diligent)”.

“It’s been years since I dropped my last album and I want to thank you for all the love during my hiatus. I’ve seen the messages, tweets, and TikToks, I’m truly grateful that my music is still resonating with the world even in my absence,” wrote Skepta on social media.

“Gas Me Up (Diligent)” will hit the shelves on January 26, but Skepta didn’t share any details about the release date of Knife and Fork. He also told his fans he can’t wait to see them at the inaugural Big Smoke Festival, which he’ll be headlining in London this summer.

Skepta’s last studio album Ignorance is Bliss came out in 2019, and it peaked at No. 2 on the Official UK Albums Chart.
