]]> Ryan Adams decided to go big in 2019 announcing recently that he will release three albums this year. This will be the second time for Adams to drop three new records in one year after he released Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights, and 29 in 2005.

The 44-year-old musician delivered the news on social media, tweeting: “Remember that year when I released 3 records. Let’s do it again”

Ryan Adams later revealed that the first album out of the three will be called Big Colors and went on to share the EP’s artwork and a brief video from the recording sessions.

Politico’s Jake Sherman then stepped in and shared the title and the artwork for the second album.

The details about the third album as well as release dates for the projects remain unknown but should be revealed in the coming weeks.

This comes after Ryan Adams teased several releases back in June when he asked his Twitter followers whether they would be interested in hearing two follow-ups to his 2017’s studio album Prisoners, as well as his unreleased record Black Hole. He also hinted at the possibility of releasing two live albums: recording of his 2016’s show at New York’s Capitol Theatre with The Infamous Stringdusters, and a live cover of the entire Rolling Stones’ Exile On Main St. album.

]]> Ryan Adams already has several albums in store, despite releasing his latest studio album Prisoners just a year ago. The 43-year-old American singer-songwriter recently went on Twitter and revealed that he has written 17 new songs, and has four records “on a shelf.”

He went on to ask his followers whether they would be interested in hearing two Prisoners follow-ups, as well as his unreleased LP Black Hole, a live recording of his 2016’s show at New York’s Capitol Theatre with The Infamous Stringdusters, and a live recording of Adams covering Rolling Stones’ legendary double album Exile On Main St.

While Ryan Adams can’t make a mistake with any of these albums, his fans would certainly appreciate the most if he was to release album Black Hole, for which he revealed the cover on Tuesday as well.

It is widely speculated that Adams recorded Black Hole more than 10 years ago, during the time he struggled with drugs and alcohol addiction. The singer has routinely teased the release of the album, and occasionally performed two of its tracks, “The Door” and “Catherine,” during live shows.

In some of his previous interviews, Ryan Adams explained why the album still remains unreleased.

“There’s one where the vocals and the performances are really f**ed-up,” he told NME back in 2014. “Then there’s a second version, which was the last thing I did when I was still messed up. Bits and pieces of that had to be stitched together to make the final product like a patchwork quilt because some of its vocal takes are too f**ed-up to release. But it’s really cool and the end result made me very happy.”
