]]>Surprisingly enough, Gibbons was the one who spilled the beans during a recent performance at Hellfest, and revealed how amazing it was to catch up with everyone involved.
“Just one month ago, I was making a record with Queens of the Stone Age, and Dave Grohl was also taking part, and he decided to have a big barbecue. So there was this interesting gathering. So, we spent one hour telling stories, great stories remembering these lovely guys,” said Gibbons to EON Music.
Both artists are no strangers to collaborating with Queens of the Stone Age. Dave Grohl served as band’s main drummer while they recorded their critically acclaimed 2002 album Songs for the Deaf. Billy Gibbons was one of the artist they collaborated on their hit single “Burn the Witch” from the 2005 album Lullabies to Paralyze.
