He wrote on Twitter: “Early days still but the newest blink-182 songs sound like they pick up where Take Off Your Pants and Jacket left off.”

The fact that the new material could sound like Take Off Your Pants and Jacket will certainly be good for Blink die-hards. Released in 2001, that album produced classical Blink songs such as ”First Date,” ”The Rock Show” and ”Stay together for the Kids.”

]]>Skiba opened up after a fan commented on his healthy-looking skin.
“Alba Botanicals pineapple enzyme Hawaiian facial scrub, drink lots of water, and get a lil sun,” Skiba says of his skin routine. “I just wash my face twice a day in the am and before bed and don’t moisturize. That’s just me tho.”
Skiba adds, “Oh, and a twice-weekly bath in the blood of virgins,” seemingly highlighting the importance of an apparent blood ritual in his quest for the best skin care. “I usually end up drinking it but that’s just me,” he explains.
Skiba who is also frontman of the band Alkaline Trio has been with Blink 182 since 2015.
He joined the band after Tom Delonge left the band to pursue other endeavors. Blink, who are veterans of the pop-punk genre, are reportedly now in the studio working on new material.

]]>Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker from the band both posted teasers on Snapchat of the band in the studio. Hoppus posted a snap of Barker drumming and captioned the image “New Blink-182 Songs, Day One.”

Barker went on to post a picture of himself and Hoppus staring into the eyes of each other, and it appeared that they were both happy with the material that they are churning out.

The last album the band released was 2016’s California, which was largely positively received.
California was the first Blink 182 album to feature vocals form Matt Skiba, who replaced Tom Delonge.
Blink 182 are widely considered to be one of the best pop-punk bands of all-time and have released hits such as “All The Small Things,” “Rock Show,” “What’s My Age Again” and “Feeling this.”
The band are not the force that they were during their heyday in the early 2000’s, but they can still put up a good rock show and release good material as they proved in 2016 with California.
