]]>Peters created a lot of buzz for her sophomore LP with singles “Body Better” and “Lost the Breakup” ahead of the album’s release on June 23. With 20,760 units in its first week, The Good Witch easily reached the top of the UK Albums Chart, making the 23-year-old Peters the youngest British female solo artist since Ella Henderson to hit No. 1 on this chart.
Peters spoke exclusively with Official Charts while collecting her award for reaching no. 1 with The Good Witch, and thanked everyone who made it possible to come this far.
“It’s just the craziest and coolest thing! I’m so happy for myself, my fans, and everyone I work with; my band, crew, manager, and label. All of the fans, we’ve been on this journey together for the longest time and this album really felt like an album for all of us,” said Peters.

]]>After a lot of anticipation, Labrinth dropped his long-awaited Billie Eilish collaboration. It might sound familiar because we’ve previously heard a snippet of this track on Euphoria, but that didn’t stop the new version from becoming an instant hit.
April 7 marked the release of several new albums, and Ellie Goulding’s Higher Than Heaven created the most buzz. Since we previously got to hear four of the album’s best songs, we had to settle for “Better Man” as its best new release.
This week has also been a great week for alternative pop vocalists and several made it to our list with their brand-new songs, including Caroline Polachek, Maisie Peters, and Ashnikko. Their new music is worth waiting for, and we’re excited to see what they’re going to do next.
Check out the rest of our best songs of the week to discover new music by NF, BTS’s Suga, Nicki Minaj, Noah Cyrus, and many more!
