]]>Madonna apologized to fans via Instagram stating that she was in “overwhelming” pain. “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me so much joy and to cancel is a kind of punishment for me, but the pain I’m in right now is overwhelming, and I must rest and follow doctor’s orders so I can come back stronger and better and continue the Madame X journey with all of you.”
Live Nation, Madonna’s tour promoter confirmed the news saying, “As we are unable to reschedule the Boston dates due to the tight scheduling through the balance of the year, refunds will be automatically issued to the credit card on which they were ordered.”
This isn’t the first time she’s had to cancel tour dates; Madonna has had production delays and she canceled shows in New York after an injury and earlier this month in L.A.
So far there haven’t been any further changes to the tour and Madonna’s next performance is scheduled for December 7 in Philidelphia.

]]>The first show was due to take place at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House on September 12th and 14th. These shows have now been pushed back to October 10th and 12th. The show on September 15th, however, has been canceled. This makes the first date of the tour September 17th at BAM.
Any ticket holders for the rescheduled dates will have their tickets honored at the reschedules shows. Anyone with tickets for the canceled show is eligible for a refund.
“Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience,” Madonna said in a statement. “She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”
Following the delayed start, the rest of Madonna’s tour will go on as planned. This includes a series of shows in Chicago, Las Vegas, LA, Boston, Philidelphia, and Miami. The tour will wrap up on December 19th.

]]>The Queen of Pop just announced the dates for a series of live shows she will play in support of the album, which will see her swapping arenas for intimate venues.
The Madame X tour will kick off in September with seven shows at New York’s BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, and will be followed by four shows at Chicago Theatre in the Windy City and five dates at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern.
This, however, won’t be all since Madonna promises similar shows in Las Vegas, Boston, Philadelphia, and Miami.
The pop star is also gearing up for series of dates in Europe as she is scheduled to perform in Lisbon, London and Paris in 2020.
“The chance for fans to see Madonna at these venues is incredibly special. We are proud and excited to be able to deliver this ultimate opportunity for her fans,” said Madonna’s long-time promoter Arthur Fogel.
Madonna officially announced her new album Madame X in April, when she released a collaboration with Colombian singer Maluma titled”Medellín,” which also serves as the lead single for the record. The second single, titled “Crave,” will be out on May 10th.
