The event will take place on the original date, from July 30th to August 2nd, and will feature archival sets from previous editions, new performances, and other special events, including interviews with musicians.

According to the official announcement, the lineup of archival shows will include sets from LCD Soundsystem, Metallica, Run The Jewels, Lorde, Paul McCartney, Chance The Rapper, OutKast, Arcade Fire, and many more.

Carnage, H.E.R., Kaskade, Louis the Child, Pink Sweat$, SAYMYNAME, The Neighbourhood, Vic Mensa, and Yungblud will be among the music acts that will prepare brand new performances for the virtual edition of Lollapalooza.

Lollapalooza founder and Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell will also participate in the festivities, preparing three different sets. Farrell will perform a special David Bowie tribute with pianist Mike Garson while also making an appearance with his new project Kind Heaven Orchestra. He will also get back together with his old band Porno for Pyros for the first time in 24 years.
