The ten highest-grossing global tours in 2018 each had ticket sales that exceeded 100 million dollars,” the report reads. A special note is given to Ed Sheeran’s world tour who became the highest-grossing tour of all time. Other tours noted are Taylor swift’s U.S. tour which grossed 345 million dollars and to Beyonce and Jay-Z joint tour which made 255 million dollars.
Legacy acts who bring revenues over the years are also noted. “As in previous years, veteran acts pulled in huge audiences too. Eagles had a 2018 gross of 166 million dollars, while Roger Waters, U2 and the Rolling Stones all performed well. Bruce Springsteen, Guns N’ Roses, and Phil Collins also brought in large totals on their respective world tours,” reads the report.
It also notes EDM artists such as Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers and Tiesto for showing a major growth in revenues.

He’ll be able to relax in style as he’s worth over £175 million ($225 million) despite having admitted spending at a rate of nearly £1.5 million ($2 million) a month during the 1990s!
Fans of Sir Elton shouldn’t be disappointed to hear about this. He is, in his own words, “going out with a bang.”
His final tour will begin in the US in September 2018 and finish in April 2019 in the UK or Europe. In between those two points, he will play over 300 gigs to say farewell to as many fans as possible.
