]]>Ariana Grande’s long-awaited deluxe edition of Eternal Sunshine, titled Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead, finally hit the shelves this Friday—and it was worth the wait! It’s given us six amazing new tracks, but none created more buzz than “Twilight Zone”.
Speaking of new albums, Mumford & Sons made an epic comeback with Rushmere, their first record in almost seven years, and made it to our list with “Caroline”. Lucy Dacus rocked our world with her latest solo album Forever Is a Feeling, and the Hozier collaboration “Bullseye” is definitely one of its best songs.
This week has been pretty epic for our favorite R&B artists. Coco Jones impressed us with her new single “You”, Ari Lennox kicked off her “Soft Girl Era”, while Jessie Reyez made it to the list with “I Never Said I Was Sane”, from her latest album Paid in Memories.
Check out the rest of our list to discover new music by Perfume Genius, Wallows, Lord Huron, and Little Simz.

]]>It’s been a slow week for new album releases, but that didn’t stop Lil Baby from making a splash with his latest album WHAM. The final installment of his Hard series has given us many epic collaborations, including “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” ft. Young Thug and Future.
It’s also been a good week for Jack Harlow, who wrapped 2024 on a high note, by sharing a reflective new song “Tranquility”. Little Simz also dropped a brand-new single before the last year was over, and reintroduced herself with a new song “Hello, Hi”.
The rest of our list for this week mostly puts alternative artists front and center. Stick around to discover new music by the likes of Celeste, Rose Gray, Beach Fossils, Thursday, Girlpuppy, Jane Remover, and Henrik.

]]>After giving us some of the biggest summer hits, Sabrina Carpenter finally dropped her new album Short n’ Sweet in full. Its latest single “Taste” will satisfy your cravings for the catchy bubblegum pop, and she promoted it with the killer music video starring Jenna Ortega.
Short n’ Sweet is certainly the buzziest new album to hit the shelves this Friday, but it’s not the only one to rock our world. Country star Lainey Wilson promoted the release of Whirlwind with the music video for its title song, while the Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. made the cut with “In the Modern World” from their new album Romance.
Coldplay’s “We Pray” emerged as one of the week’s buzziest new songs, and they even brought Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna, and TINI on board. Check out the rest of our list, and get ready to discover some new music by Blink-182, Elmiene, Luna Li, Magdalena Bay, Jelly Roll, and Orion Sun.

]]>No Thank You Tour will see Simz starting off in Chicago on September 20 before playing shows in Atlanta, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver before the end of the month. She will then head to Los Angeles for a show on October 3, followed by stops in Toronto, Montreal, and Silver Spring. The tour will wrap up with a live performance at New York’s Terminal 5 on October 11.
“It’s been a long time. Appreciate your love and patience,” Simz wrote on Twitter while sharing the tour dates.
Little Simz originally planned to embark on a 10-date tour across North America in May 2022. However, the trip was eventually scrapped, with Simz saying that the tour would leave her “in a huge deficit” if she decided to go through with it.
Little Simz released her most recent album, No Thank You, in December. The record was met with widespread critical acclaim and was recognized by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the best hip-hop albums of the year.

]]>The post 2022 Brit Awards Nominations: Adele and Ed Sheeran Lead the Way appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>The four of them will all be competing for two of the ceremony’s biggest awardsùthe artists of the year and album of the year—with Sam Fender joining them in both. Adele scored her nomination with her latest LP 30, while Sheeran is competing with his new album Equals AKA =.
Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” and Adele’s “Easy on Me” are also in the running for the song of the year, but they’ll have to face some tough competition to get their hands on this trophy. The category features a total of 15 songs, including “Cold Heart” by Elton John and Dua Lipa and “Clash” by Dave and Stormzy.
What set the upcoming Brit Awards apart is the introduction of gender-neutral categories. Back in November last year, it’s been announced that the gendered categories will be removed from all future ceremonies, leading to the introduction of the British artist of the year award.
We’ll see who’ll come out victorious at this historic ceremony on February 8th, 2022, when the Brit Awards are set to take place at the O2 Arena.
