Limp Bizkit’s original lineup recently got together for a special gig at Los Angeles’ The Troubadour, with an entry fee of $3. It turned out that those who decided to part way with this amount got much more than their money’s worth. The American rap/rock band decided to treat the audience with a setlist that included their biggest hits, but also performed a number of covers including Nirvana’s hit “Heart-Shaped Box.”

After performing their 2000’s song “My Way,” Limp Bizkit immediately transitioned into the opening part of “Heart-Shaped Box,” causing the fans to scream after they heard the familiar intro. Already heated atmosphere got even better when Marilyn Manson joined in to help out with the chorus. You can hear the cover below.

Besides covering Nirvana, Limp Bizkit delivered their versions of songs from some other bands including Journey, Green Day, Pantera, The Who, and Metallica. You can check out some of the fan footage from the show below.

The show at The Troubador saw Limp Bizkit’s founding lineup – Fred Durst, Wes Borland, DJ Lethal, John Otto, and Sam Rivers – playing together for the first time since 2012. Besides reuniting for live shows, this lineup is currently also recording a new album, titled Stampede of the Disco Elephants, which will serve as a follow-up to Gold Cobra.
