The Rolling Stones have revealed their plans to commemorate the 50th anniversary of their tenth studio album Let it Bleed. The band just announced an expansive box set and reissue of the record, which is set for release November 1st.

According to the press release, the box set comes with a remastered version of the album in both mono and stereo, 7″ single of “Honky Tonk Women”/”You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and lots of additional goodies like posters. The remaster of the record was done by Grammy Award-winning mastering-engineer Bob Ludwig.

Let It Bleed (50th Anniversary Limited Deluxe Edition) will also contain a hardcover book that features an essay from David Fricke and numerous previously unseen photographs from the era. To see everything that comes in this box set, check out the unboxing video below.

Let it Bleed came to be during a chaotic period in The Rolling Stones’ career as founder and guitarist Brian Jones was fired from the band midway through the recording process. Jones was rarely in the studio and ended up contributing to just two songs, playing backing instruments.

The album received positive reviews upon its release in 1969 and has grown on significantly since then. It is now viewed as one of the best and most influential albums ever made and a true classic.  Rolling Stone magazine placed it on N0.32 of their “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list.
